Technical Skills
This includes knowledge and proficiency in a certain specialized field. This is the individual’s abilities to carry out task assigned to them. This is the skills present in the first line managers who manages rank and file individuals.
Human Skills
As Managers deal directly with people, a human skills should be possessed to be able to get the best of their people. They should know how to communicate, lead, motivate and inspire enthusiasm and trust. It is the ability to work well with people.
Conceptual Skills
Finally, managers should have conceptual skills to conceptualize and think about abstract and complex situation. To see organization as a whole and understand relationships of the other departments visualize how organization fits into a broader environment.
Managers are important in the organization as they facilitates the flow of information to the people. They should be open to innovation as the world is changing.
