November 22, 2010 Leave a comment

How to forget bad memories?

July 17, 2010 Leave a comment

Sit down in a comfortable chair and close your eyes.

even though it is painful, embarrassing, cringy, etc, think of the time you are wishing to forget.

Close your eyes and visualize a black and white photograph of the situation that you are trying to forget. In your mind, look at it. this photograph is your memory of the experience you hate.

As you are looking, begin to shrink it. shrink it so that it is much much smaller. keep shrinking it so that you can barely see it

once you can barely make out the tiny spot, blow it away, so you know that the little speck is gone away, and no one will ever see it, and its not with you anymore, and it is GONE.

remember that, in real life, hardly anyone even knew about your embarrassing mistake, and especially now, because everyone is so self centered, and they probably forgot or didn’t care anyway. and if they do remember, that means they are lamer than you. they should get over it. point is, YOU ARE FREE NOW, YOU BLEW IT AWAY! good for you!! go take on the day.

It’s not my time (Lyrics)

March 30, 2010 2 comments
Looking back at the beginning of this
And how life was
Just you and me and love and all of our friends
Living life like an ocean
Now the currents slowly pulling me down
It’s getting harder to breath
It won’t be too long and I’ll be going under
Can you save me from this
It’s not my time,
I’m not going
There’s a fear in me
It’s not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
Oh, I won’t go
I look ahead to all the plans that we made
And the dreams that we had
I’m in a world that tries to take them away
Oh, but I’m taking them back
All this time I’ve just been to blind to understand
What should matter to me
My friend, this life we live
Is not what we have, it’s what we believe
It’s not my time
I’m not going
There’s a fear in me
It’s not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
Oh, It’s not my time
I’m not going
There’s a fear in me
Now I know that
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
Oh, I won’t go
I won’t go
It might be more than you believe
It might be something you can’t see
It’s not my time
I’m not going
There’s a fear in me
It’s not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
It’s not my time
I’m not going
There’s a will in me
Now it’s gonna show
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
I won’t go
There might be more than you believe
There might be more than you can see
It’s not my time
I’m not going
There’s a fear in me
It’s not showing
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
It’s not my time
I’m not going
There’s a will in me
Now I know it
This could be the end of me
And everything I know
I won’t go

I won’t go!

Who knows?

March 12, 2010 Leave a comment

Who knows what will happen?
Who knows when we die?
Who knows world end?
Who knows how many birth and how many death?
Who knows the oppressor and oppressed?
Who knows if we are ready to do something?
Who knows life secrets?
Who knows difference between humans?
Who knows who love you?
Who knows about second life?
Who knows about you more than yourself?
Who knows the truth?
Who knows right way of exchange?
Who knows who knows?

ALLAH knows

Why does Egypt need GPS?

June 16, 2009 2 comments

There is no doubt that Egypt is suffering from traffic problems and accidents on highways to the point that the mortality rate and rate of injuries on the road exceeds the same rates in wars!

We are about to present an incremental integrated solution to the traffic problem that will help reduce the burden on civilians, law enforcement personnel and drivers of different types of vehicles…

The idea behind these devices is very simple; they are capable of identifying the geographical position represented by longitude and latitude, which are calculated by the time of flight. Identifying the time is in a precision of 6 digits.

It is widely known that electronic maps of Cairo and Alexandria are now available on the internet and easily accessible to all internet users. The maps are detailed to the smallest alleys and areas that still have not received facilities like electricity and sanitation. It even goes further to building numbers in some streets. GPS devices are used almost all over the world. Not only can these devices communicate with GPS satellites, but also 3G and GSM networks, and FM radio signals. This makes these devices perfect for all sorts of communication and data exchange. Using Radio Data Services is known all over the world and yet it is an alien concept only in third world countries.

After this introduction, we can deduce the following:

To apply these ideas we assume the existence of a GPS receiver with average or high accuracy, as well as a transmitter to a cellular network, which could help identify the person in case of tracking him/her. It is preferred to have a data receiver integrated with the car radio.

  • Using electronic maps civilians could identify roads accurately. These maps are used all over the world, not only to identify roads, but to calculate the shortest routes, the routes with the least traffic congestions with the ability to avoid unpaved roads, high roads or roads that have a toll station. All these calculations are made in a matter of seconds and thus there is no place for human error. Huge maps with high details that are measured in hectors can be transformed into a small file a couple of kilobytes in size. This opens a door to a wide variety of applications especially those that work on mobile phones, palmtops, PDAs, and generally any low to medium sized memory devices.
  • Locating tourist attractions all over the country, especially those that exist deep into the eastern or western deserts.
  • Breaking the speed limits is electronically recorded.
  • Driving in the opposite direction can be recorded remotely.
  • The system warns the driver before making mistakes and while he/she is making them.
  • Pursuit of cars and preparing road blocks can all be done in seconds.
  • Tracking cars driven by new drivers or teenagers.
  • Investigating accidents and identifying who caused them. Also statistical analysis could be made on the cause of accidents in general and how they could b avoided.
  • Cairo Taxi could use GPS in an infinite number of applications. The driver can calculate the shortest route, or the most economical one. The call center can identify the cab closest to the caller and the system can schedule trips that best utilize time and gas.
  • Contributing to solving the traffic problem in Cairo, by redirecting drivers away from traffic jams so the congestion is evenly distributed among all routes.
  • Serving ambulances and fire brigades to reach their destination in the shortest route possible.
  • Using GPS to identify the location of a car in an SOS situation. Wether the car has broken down, an accident or someone hurt, the device will automatically detect the situation and notify the authorities over cellular networks.
  • Public transportation can make use of GPS to report failures or rerouting to avoid major accidents.
  • Locating stolen cars remotely.
  • Information on traffic status can be easily sent over cellular networks or radio to avoid points of congestion.
  • Escorting and securing important personnel is easier with constant tracking, online monitoring of jamming devices, and clearing traffic.
  • Navigating to locations where satellite data indicates the existence of oil or metals.
  • Maritime services, including tracking ships and receiving SOS signals with the coordinates of the ship. This could help quickly locate a sinking ship or ferry and save lives.
