Let the quote serve as your writing prompt this week.
I plead guilty of reacting frantically
And that rifted our relationship badly
Old wounds have healed
Bonds, again sealed
Now I can listen empathetically

To the hungry ones
Half moon, looks like
baked, Delicious
tortilla wrap
Mouth watering
Treat to the eyes
but,
can’t satiate hunger
( with apologies to the moon)

Irony of life
All because of a missing road sign, my life took a different turn.
It led me into a forest where I fell into a blind well.
Shouting was useless; there was no one within hearing distance.
I saw a tunnel that led to God knows where.
I started walking, hoping to find a way out.
Blind well, blind tunnel, who knows what lies ahead.
Organ transplantation
A boon for patients
but
there exists
Organ theft,
a heinous, organised crime
A multi-million global market
flourishing in its name,
run by the organ mafia.
Their preys are
the desperate buyer, and
poor donor, migrants, refugees, or
Orphans
Whoare in dire need of money.
Both are financially exploited.
Where Recipient has to pay huge money
but
donors are not given the promised money,
or proper after operation care.
Kidneys are the most commonly trafficked organs
as one can survive with one.
Ever herd of transplant tourism?
Where rich recipients
travel abroad
especailly, developing countries,
North Africa, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, Central and South America, and Europe
for organ trade.
The stories of people’s greed and brutality are heartbreaking.
It sends shivers down the spine.
Can this trade be controlled?

This image is of two red nebulae in a star-filled sky. It’s a very dark image, and the reddish nebulae are irregularly shaped.
Nebulas or tricks
Or I actually watch toys
Playing with the stars
Gorgeous skyscape lures
Still to discover a lot more
Mysteries of Nature
I think my dog can smile
Sometimes lovingly
Sometimes crookedly
sometimes jeering
when I’m in the soup
Trust me, he does
Sometimes, fervently
When, after a long day
I come back home
What I love about his smile is
That it reaches his eyes

Oxymoron – An oxymoron is a figure of speech that combines two contradictory or opposite words for a striking effect, thereby revealing deeper meaning through paradox.
The word oxymoron is itself oxymoronic, which is to say, contradictory. The word is derived from two ancient Greek words: oxys, meaning “sharp,” and moronos, meaning “dull” or “stupid.”
Quiet Storms A deafening silence Of a dormant volcano Suppressed for too long Beware of its sudden burst Quiet storms waiting -------------------------- Advice From A Die-hard Oxymoron The best choice in a minor crisis. Don't behave like a clever fool, Or, it will go out of hand, And you will be left to Face a pretty bad Unsolvable Uncontrolled chaos **"Stop"**
I tried my hand at Nonet, but I’m doubtful whether it fits the bill or not.

A little warmth in your touch
melts all the snow off my heart
The flicker of flame gives hope and
a frozen atmosphere melts
Bare branches witness A lone couple holding hands With courage and warmth Walks towards infinity Frozen landscape, melting

Monstrous black clouds
trying to gobble up
the blood Moon,
the velvety purple sky resists,
the wolfish rocks,
howling silently,
do not break the spell,
this magical moment,
will not come again.
Any of us gone
We'll remember, how much love
Aches, and joys we shared
~The present moment is the only moment available to us, and it is the door to all moments~
Appreciating
Moments of togetherness
Make life heaven, now

Quote –“The present moment is the only moment available to us, and it is the door to all moments”
