The java portion of Apache JServ is essentially just an application (without
a gui) with a main() method that takes arguments on the command line to
start up.

In the faq (and on the Apache JServ website), there is a link to Ari's
excellent installation document:

faqomatic:32

In Ari's document is a script and clear documentation on how to do ApJServManual on.
