Subject: Thank you! JServ/GSP used for Ebay Magazine subscriptions
Date: Mon, Aug 2, 1999, 9:35 AM

I thought the group might find it interesting (and I apologize if it's
off topic)-- we built the Ebay Magazine online subscription form with
Apache-JServ and GSP, running on a Sun Enterprise 3500. It's been
dealing with all kinds of load-- more than 5 subscriptions per second,
including the CyberCash transactions. Hopefully, this kind of
application will call even further attention to the virtues of using
Apache-JServ! (There's no way I could have built this with anything
else, and expected it to sustain the loads it's been sustaining.)

Thank you all for your help!

(This is not a plug, but you can see the mechanism at www.ebaymag.com.)
