File I/O Problems
I'm having problems reading and writing files using Apache and JServe on a FreeBSD machine. The servlet is run via JSSI. Other servlets of mine which do not use file IO work perfectly fine - but when i attempt to run a servlet (via JSSI) which reads or writes to files, the servlet seems to 'hang'. When i say 'hang' i mean, the page loads up to where the servlet's output should appear, and the browser eventually timesout the connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated (please send any replies to my email) -- thanks a lot, Clint Heyer. :)
