Installing Apache 1.3.6 with JServ 1.0 on WinNT4
I had some terrible problems with the standard installs of these. I had to:
remove my failed install attempt using "Start|Settings|Control Panel|Add Remove Programs" and then blowing the files away
reboot
install apache
reboot
install JServ I used JDK 1.2.1, but it will probably work with 1.1.x
reboot
and then it worked. The reboots are quite necessary for some reason.
