Using mod_jserv with Stronghold
When attempting to use mod_jserv with C2Net's Stronghold secure Web server, you may encounter error messages like the following when accessing a servlet using SSL:
[Thu Feb 18 16:59:25 1999] [error] JServ: ajp11: Servlet Error: Malformed = data send to JServ
mod_jserv and Stronghold don't have any known incompatibilities, so it is possible to get this to work, though getting the right configuration may require a little tweaking.
The problem may stem from having the mod_jserv configuration directives in the VirtualHost section of httpd.conf; try moving them to an earlier portion of the file and see if that makes the errors go away.
