Shuttered Life
Running away from the past that’s after me
No matter how I tried, I could never be
Always on a sprint, a black hole to where I begin
It’s a tough game…It’s a battle I can’t win…
I’ll keep on smiling high, writing lights on a film
Exposing all what I’m going through this lens on my machine
I offered little tears on these radical souvenirs
I’ll wait till it fades, those reel of negatives
I don’t have my Kevlar helmet, Swiper swipe all my gears
It should protect me from this madness and bullet made of tears
This head is fully occupied with fear of moving ahead
I am a barehanded trained warrior backing out when I’m scared
Someone shouts; get back your heading the wrong way
I don’t give a damn, who are you anyway…
This is my war, and I have my battle plans
With full metal jacket and a funeral band
Head shot, bruises and stitches on my shoulders
I lose the fight but I am a proud wounded soldier
The white flag is waving and the war is over
But the humbled warrior keeps on running forever
It is a never ending voyage of love and hate
Colliding ideas and dismantled faith
It will never stop no matter how we pretend
Cause only the lifeless have seen the war ends…….

Salvation
