A Craft Roulette Project from January 16th

I had too many thoughts running through my head about what I might do so I went with the easiest, a small card on a post card.  Below are the parameters.

Project: Card on a card: little flip up card on a postcard
Colors: Unicorn Farm: light colors
Element: Light(s): the sun on the postmark
Random: Label(s): a label of white on black

I used most of one new stamp set and the sun from another new set on this project and I'm very happy with the results.  Thinking of unicorns, the first things I think of are visions filled with sunny bright and sparkly things, either a unicorn or background.  I've added sparkle to little things on the card.

2nd picture of the card showing the little card has a little message.

Supplies:
Whimsy Mail Mates Celebrate stamps
Whimsy Bear Buddies stamps
Copic markers
Wink of Stella
NO dies used - yes, I'm shocked too

A New Year With The Creative Crafters

The Creative  Crafters starts a monthly challenge every 15th of the month and I've made       as inspiration for this month.

This challenge is always "Anything Goes".
Be sure to join The Creative  Crafters challenge!

I'm still in the Christmas card mood.  These are not tags although they are shaped that way.  I bought these at an art store because I liked the shape, but just didn't use them for the past TEN or FIFTEEN years.  LOL These fit into a #2 envelope just fine. (Nesting Tags Die)

I used distress oxides for backgrounds and some new snowmen I had ordered.  I like both of the die sets.  The two snow people on the left just really change the face on each body.
The Hills are from Birch Press.

1st individual Card (Waffle Flower Snow Fun Die - snow people)

2nd individual Card (Kat Scrappiness Snowman Craft Die)

Please join in the challenge at the Creative Crafters Challenge Blog this month..

An Easy-Peasy Card for Craft Roulette

As I watched Craft Roulette on Friday, I found something on my desk that made my choice of what to use quite easy.   When I had pulled a couple things out of my cabinet, the ship panel fell out and I just hadn't gotten around to putting the panel back.  After writing down the challenge information, I knew immediately what I was going to make.

Project: Thanks Sentiment is "Appreciation"
Colors: Apple Farm: Apples are all different colors with leaves in green, apples in reds
Element: Silhouette: The image is a Silhouette
Random: Die cut frame & panel over 7 years old

I've always liked this panel which was from an advertisement on heavy duty cardstock, but I never used it.  I' so glad I had a chance to put together this lovely card.

A Brand New Year With Morgan's ArtWord - 2026

"Anything Goes" January 1st to January 27, 2026

You can use any image or project you have posted in January to enter Morgan's ArtWorld challenge

For purchasing Morgan's ArtWorld Images, please visit the website at:
Morgan's Fitzsimons Art Studio

When I began, I wasn't sure of what colors I was going to use, but as I colored her hair, I thought green would be the perfect color to use next.  I colored this image differently from my fellow DTs as I thought this lady was wearing a shirt as I thought the length of the torso would be out of proportion with a real person.  I think it will work either way.

Supplies:
Morgan's ArtWorld Cameo 13
unknown brand Arch dies
Copic markers
Vagabond die cut machine

A Lot More Tags

December at Die Cut Divas: Waffle Flower

The Theme is Christmas/Winter and be sure to use a die cut or embossing folder.

I had time for more tags and I made about 14 tags over the course of 3 days.  I used Illusions sprays on some and the page from a 2019 calendar that I was keeping for something special as well as a wonderful scene on a tissue box.  Yeah, I'm that person who says "I think I can use this in cardmaking".

All of my cards stacked up below:

Close-up of the top row of tags. Illusions sprays made the backgrounds of all tags below. The Tea Cup die (no longer available) was used on left tag with a combination of  Postage Collage Snowman Stencil Set cut up to make the rest of the tags.

Close-up of the bottom two rows of tags. Illusions sprays used only on top left tag. The beautiful pines & skies in the background tags in the bottom left are made from a tissue box.  The tags with the snow, berries, and bird are from a large calendar page (2019 date).  I used left over papers and whatever was handy to make these cards.

Supplies:
Waffle Flower Nesting Tags dies
Just about anything I could find that might make a tag, it was used from a tissue box (tags with trees & mountain background on bottom left of above tag display) and a calendar (right top 3 and bottom right sides of above tag display) to a Waffle Flower Snowman Stencil.

Stencil Work For the Holidays with Waffle Flower

December at Die Cut Divas: Waffle Flower

I'm showing some of the Stencil Work I did for the Holiday season.

The Theme is Christmas/Winter

The prize is a $15 code to go shopping at Waffle Flower.

There are four stencils to make this these images.  I had some mistakes, but I think I made the most of my mistakes.  I had printed an online picture of one of the cards on the Waffle Flower website to make sure I knew what each stencil panel was for and I am glad I did.  I'm listing all the distress oxide inks and the one distress ink I used to make this card.  I used all fun colors on the middle bottom panel.

I can see my house on the bottom left is a bit crooked and the birds on the right bottom could be better, but I'm ok with it.

2nd Card below
