Sketchy updates

So much for keeping timely updates! I haven't posted new stuff since September?? Terrible. To be fair, I was away for 3 months working in Berlin. And now I'm moving there!

Leaving California for exciting new adventures in Germany. After I get settled in my new life as an ex-pat, I should be updating this blog more regularly. (In theory) In the meantime, here is some newer stuff I did somewhat recently.

Lately, the (in)frequency of updates on this blog has been...noticeable. I really aim to keep it more up to date, though! Especially this close to Halloween..

Tales of Jack the Ripper

Neglect, works in progress

Been majorly busy lately with various things, but figured I'd at least update with a mish mash of some of the paintings I'm still working on. I'll be posting these as I finish them (in theory), so hopefully I'll be back to a (semi) regular update schedule soon.

Finally! Just started an online print shop thru society6.com - I've heard nothing but good things about the quality they put out. A few prints are also available as skins for ipads/iphones/laptops, etc.

I'm also going to add more artwork/sketches here soon.

Barnabas Collins

Don't think I ever posted this guy on here before. This was for a contest on deviant art last year - a portrait of Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins for Tim Burton's Dark Shadows film. 

Never was too thrilled with how I made his face look. Feels a bit..off. You can check out the winners and rest of the entries here.

Edgar Allan Poe

Tried to get this done in time for his birthday today, but still needs work. I'll try and finish it up soon and update the image.

In the meantime, I've referenced nine of his works in this image. Some more ambiguous than others..Name them!
