I’m currently working on the coding moving the works over from the existing two databases (old and the efiction version that the database got lost from) There have been some complications involving the existing databases.

You may be aware that there was a program that converted from the old database to the new database on a semi-automated basis. Unfortunately this program broke when an update to PHP occurred on the server. Fixing this program is allowing conversion but in creating the new efiction database I have discovered some additional issues.

The log we used to keep track of what was converted from the old archive database (known by the team as Story.dex) has proven to be totally inadequate to reverse engineering into the files in the efarchive directory. This has resulted in some changes to make sure conversions going forward are completely reversible.
