Work is still on…

Dealing with confused souls lacking clarity.
The workplace is often an antonym of humility.
Communication gap filled with vengeance.
Politeness is often surpassed by arrogance.
Stress, anxiety and hamper of mental peace.
Employees often search for proper and sound sleep.
Great places to work are only for media and paper.
Some leave the world and we read it in the newspaper.
Health gone, peace gone, life and body gone.
Ironically is to know work is still on.

Clarity is surpassed by confusion.
The majority pretend to be a leader without a solution.
The problem solving attitude is left at the corner.
Problem creation traits are at the centre.
What is expected is not communicated.
Objective and end result is deviated.
The well-being of employees sounds like grief.
As they have to beg for “single day leave.”
Proper work is being replaced by only paper work.
The question arises…
Do workplaces really offer “work”?
Or is it a place of humiliation?
Or is it a place of ego satisfaction?

Toxicity outshines creativity.
Clashes overshadow humility.
This is the new culture being nurtured.
Is this what a great place to work looks like?
Where employee treatment is becoming futile?
Presumptive attitude and undue favour.
Remove the creamy layer.

At the end ..
Health gone, peace gone, life and body gone.
Ironically is to know work is still on.
Work is still on.

Silent…

Quiet, mute and silent.
Speaking to myself.
No nonsense and chaos.
Silent conversation arose.
Not from the outside world.
It is found in the inside world.
Full of patience and power.
Where only peace showers.
Hussle and tussle buried.
Satisfaction seems to have arrived.

Isolation from mankind,
gives real bliss and experience.
Experience to know yourself.
Keeping a halt from nonsense.
As…
In the realm of noise,
peace is found inside.
Peace is found inside.
As…
In the realm of noise,
Be quiet, mute and silent.
Be quiet, mute and silent.

Unlock the power of silence,
by being silent.

Selfie turning deadly…

In general, we all enjoy taking selfies on many occasions. Be it during travel, visiting new places, enjoying food, trekking, group chit chat etc, selfie has become a part of our day to day life.

Many selfie enthusiasts can’t leave bed without having a “good morning” and “good night “selfie. Many people click selfie so many times in a day. In a nutshell, selfies have become a part of our life for the majority of the population, if not all.

Clicking selfies is fun and it is a kind of memory which one creates but it can be dangerous as well. Indeed, selfies can be fatal if not taken with due precautions.

In a recent study conducted by The Barber Law Firm, for the period March 2014 and May 2025, zeroing in on instances where taking a selfie directly caused injury or death.

India ranks the top list with 214 deaths in the said period followed by the USA with 45 deaths for the same period. The list of top 5 countries are given below.

  1. India – 214 deaths and 57 injuries
  2. USA – 45 deaths and 8 injuries
  3. Russia – 18 deaths and 1 injury
  4. Pakistan – 16 deaths and 0 injury
  5. Australia – 13 deaths and 2 injuries

With the growing use of social media and a craze of posting shorts and reels with selfies, people are forgetting the precautions which must be taken while clicking the selfie. The above figures indicate the untouched risk which we as humans are facing.

These five countries are the most dangerous countries to take a selfie. As per the research conducted, 46 % of the total global selfie related deaths occur while taking selfies on waterfalls, hills, rooftops, cliffs and tall structures.

India accounts for 42% of total selfie deaths globally making it the “topper” in selfie related deaths. The major cause of such a high number of selfie related deaths is high population density, easy access to hazardous locations like railway tracks, river banks , cliffs etc.

People should realise and understand that taking a selfie is not bad but it should be taken with precautions. One must thoroughly look around before taking a selfie. Check properly left, right, up and down and do not take a selfie in a hurry.

Unnecessary hurry and getting into a race of taking selfies from various angles may result in death or injury. Hence Always take precautions before taking a selfie as life is precious. 😊
