The January Sweet November Stamps newsletter was emailed out last night, full of all of the Valentine sweetness that the team has been creating all month long. We had two digital stamp releases in January, Love Letters and Scrappy and Sulky Valentine, so there is plenty of love to go around. Valentine's Day with Scrappy and Sulky...

 

Hello friends!

We've got one last Valentine's themed digi release at Sweet November Stamps today. This collection sees the return of grumpy Sulky kitty and excitable pup, Scrappy, in three different 'love filled' scenarios. There is Scrappy and Sulky Kisses, Scrappy and Sulky Heart Attack, and Scrappy and Sulky Snuggle Time to choose from. 

My first card finds Scrappy and Sulky Kisses showing their "love" for each other. Scrappy can't help it if her kisses are a little wet and sloppy and Sulky being on the receiving end doesn't seem to be completely loving the attention.

Next, Scrappy and Sulky Heart Attack finds poor Sulky, who spent hours crafting the perfect Valentine only to have Scrappy bust through it in his excitement for the holiday. Though it sure looks like Scrappy loves his Valentine, hole and all.

Finally, Scrappy and Sulky Snuggle Time finds Sulky who was simply trying to take a nap when Scrappy decided to dog pile on for some serious snuggle time. Scrappy may be feeling all comfy cozy while Sulky could use some personal space, LOL!

I printed out Rosie and Bernie the Unicorn, Rosie Smooches Bernie the Unicorn and Rosie and Bernie the Unicorn Postage Stamps onto the various panels of the Hello Bluebird Santa Postage die then got to coloring. Another thing I love about these new digi versions of Rosie and Bernie is that we can finally color in Rosie's hair, as both the original black line hair and new outline hair are included with each purchase. I used stamps from the Fantasy Post Marks and Year Round Post Marks sets at Sweet November to add the finishing touches to this magical card.

I love you a choco-lot...

Hey, hey!

It was another busy day yesterday, with not a lot of time for getting crafty. So when I finally got a chance to sit down at my desk I needed something quick to color. I went to my binder of cute Anita Jeram critters from Colorado Craft Company and found these two mice stealing a chocolate bonbon. They are from the Life Happens set that was a Stamptember exclusive at Simon Says Stamp and I knew they would be perfect for a quick Valentine. Because I was short on time I masked them off and did a simple airbrush background that matches the scrap of pattern paper that I found for the card front. In need of a cute finishing touch, I pulled out these enamel shapes that look like chocolate candies... perfection!  ;)

Hi there! 

I was flipping through the stack of pre-stamped images on my desk again when I came across this retired yet still adorable Dollie with Cupcake from The Greeting Farm. She seemed perfect for a cute galentine's day card so I masked Dollie off and added a digi background using images from the Bakery Cafe set. Pink with black and white polka dots is always a cute look, plus the limited color palette makes coloring go pretty quickly. So, that's another one off the desk which always make me happy.  :)

You're a sweetheart...

Good morning!

This past weekend was a review focus at Sweet November Stamps so I chose to color up another kiddo from the Love Letters digi collection during the Saturday Live over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. This time I put together an indoor scene using Love Letters: Olivia and the window and cat from the older Spring is Back: Background Builder set. The nice thing about adding a window is that you actually get to play with both outdoor and indoor scene building and that's just what we did on this card. I love the soft pastel color palette that came together through everyone's suggestions and adding the neighbor's house off in the distance. It was another good Saturday of crafting and coloring and it doesn't get much better than that, if you ask me.  ;)
