Bongo Barney's Blog

It was my first foray in to using WordPress and as I wrote in early posts, it was such an unwieldy process! Still, I still have it and may give it a Spring clean, tidy and much -needed update (in the Spring!) but for my main Blog head over to http://www.barneymusician.com .

As retirement approaches (aka being required to do stuff I’d rahther. have the time for to do other stuff!) I’ll get more time to consolidate all my websites (I think only 4?) and update but thanks all and any that pass by here – do feel free to like and comment 🙂

I hate word press..

THis has got to be the most un-user-friendly blog system going…great if you’re a techie or programmer but pretty useless if you have the crazy notion of keeping a blog. I’ve been using Google’s Eblogger for 6 years – brilliantly simple, clear and straightforward. No “help” needed. However WordPress seems to offer very little straightforward help and is a minefield. Does anyone know of any help to get to grips with it (if this is going to involve getting a host, using html coding or anything beyond simplicity, forget it…).

Shame as I had hoped I could sync it with my iPhone easily…
