I’m going to use this site as place to think out loud and share some thoughts as I progress through my Doctor of Ministry program at Erskine Theological Seminary.

My hope is to do a project which will use the writings of men like Wendell Berry, Samuel Rutherford, Allen Tate, Hilaire Belloc, Richard Weaver, Martin Bucer, Robert Nisbet, Stuart Robinson, et al to make an argument for the parish model of ministry which is more than just a statement about geography, but a holistic understanding of what Allen Tate would call “the Whole Horse”.
