To celebrate the 70th anniversary of The Carnegie Medal, the UK’s most prestigious prize in children’s literature, readers were invited to vote on their all-time favorite book from a list of ten previous Medal winners. Philip Pullman‘s The Golden Compass (published in the UK as Northern Lights) received more than 40% of the votes in this global poll!
