Motorclothes® Introduces First Pink Label Boot
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. For
those suffering from the tragedy of breast cancer or supporting someone
battling for their health, every month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But
for one month each year, the world’s view is focused just a bit more on a disease
that effects mothers, sisters, daughters and wives each and every day.
Harley-Davidson Footwear is proud to announce the
introduction of the Morgan, a performance riding boot designed specifically for
the Harley-Davidson Motorclothes® Pink Label Collection. Set to hit stores in
October 2012, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Morgan and the
entire Pink Label collection will be donated to help fund Breast Cancer support
groups.
“The Pink Label collection has been a wonderful
platform for Harley-Davidson to support groups devoted to women and families
dealing with Breast Cancer,” said Hobie Burgnon, vice-president of sales for
Harley-Davidson Footwear. “We are very excited to bring the Morgan to the
marketplace. It’s a great riding boot with a cause.”
The Morgan’s low-profile seven-inch harness
design with stacked heel is the perfect partner to women riders, on the road
and off. The boot features a durable full-grain leather upper with inside
zipper for easy of wear. The slip, abrasion and oil-resistant rubber out-sole features a pop of bright pink welt stitching, delivering the flexible
durability the Goodyear Welt construction provides. The iconic Bar & Shield
embroidered logo is present on the boot’s upper in outline-only featuring the
same bright pink stitching present in the boot’s welted out sole.
