Be grateful
It is so easy to get caught up in the bullshit that permeates our day to day life. I am in such a challenging situation at work until that is all I an focus on. I quit my position with the organization where I sat on the board because I couldn't fully devote my time and attention to it. I have also been recovering from the flu. I haven't had the flu in YEARS. When I say years I mean more than 20. I get bad cold, but not the flu. It knocked me to my knees, but because of my work situation I only took about two days off total. I was delirious with fever and thankfully was able to get a prescription for a Z-Pack. I am blessed and I need to keep it in mind at all times. I volunteered my time to help repack food for the victims of Sandy this morning and I loved doing it. Sometimes I find that I am happier volunteering my time than working for money. I then drove over to the Rockaways that were very severely affected by Sandy.
