HAPPY NEWS: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child part I and II to be Published too

Howdy Potter Heads
What if I tell you that the eight part to the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child part I and II, is all set to be published on 31 July 2016 (oops! Harry’s Birthday).

image

The synopsis released last year said, “It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.”

Though the announcement of the play to come was confirmed on June 26, 2015 (Yes, the anniversary of the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, published on June 26, 1997). The book is going to be coauthored by  J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany and published on the first minute of Harry’s Birthday. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I and II will be published by Little Brown in the UK and Scholastic in the US. The eBook edition shall also be published on the Pottermore, Rowling’s encyclopedia for the Harry Potter World.

And like J.K. Rowling has mentioned it already IT IS NOT GOING TO BE A PREQUEL. PERIOD.

*Spoiler:  The plot will be set 19 years after the end of the final novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, published in 2007. Harry Potter is now an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. And the play will focus on youngest son of Harry Potter, Albus Severus.

Winner: India of your Dreams

*Drumroll*

Time to Announce the winner eh?
We received 9 entries for the contest  “India of your Dreams” and all of them were really great. But the winner has to be one. So, the best entry was that of Kuhu Nagpal. She wrote a limerick:

Not my dream, bewitchingly bright
It’s but my hope; my hope day and night-
The India of my dreams, merged as one team;
Pakistan our own, does it seem.
My India, a tempting tricolour; yet wholly white.

We are giving her a choice to choose from two classical books of our beloved Charles Dickens- “The Tale of two Cities” or “Great Expectations”.
Well Done . Kuhu Nagpal

10 Life Hacking Quotes by Charles Dickens

Today we talk about the greatest novelist of Victorian times
I don’t think I will be able to contain all his wisdom in my vain rhymes
But I’ll try; for that’s how we grow
That’s how we learn not to go with the flow
And the people, who do this; just like he did, attain true greatness.

On this note, I am sharing with you, ten of his greatest quotes of all time:
