Why I can't sleep

Even though I am soooo very tired.  His snoring has always been a 'quirk' about him. One I quickly learned to live with (as in about 2 yrs or sooo) But lately....... grrrrrrr

5. Well, would you believe that today when my load shifted and I had to restack and retie down the whole thing by myself that not ONE single guy stopped to even ask if I needed help today?  I was an hour from any town...... fuckers

Busy- and couldn't be happier

 The sun is shining, the windows are open. It is forecasted to be in the mid 60's and I am getting so much done around the house. I love it.  I love when things just go this easily- I thank the sunshine. Makes all the difference.

Laundry drying on the clothes line, floors cleaned, kitchen tidied up,  bedroom and bathroom cleans (even dusted), and now onto the rest of the laundry and to get supper plans under way so when it is most beautiful this afternoon I can enjoy it.

GNO (girls night out) was postponed from Thursday to tonight.  Having that to look for is helping too!  woo woo

Scantily Clad on the Railroad Track- a review

It was 34 degrees, the sun had been missing for days, and the skies were threatening snow at any moment.  As I headed into town the wind picked up and I just shook my head.  In the seat behind me I had my bag it contained:

*The corset
*A pair of thigh high black nylons
*Black Heels
*Hairspray, curling iron, brush
*Make up
*A blanket

I was off to take pics for an Eden Fantasy review.

Sub thought: I received a couple of corsets to take on my trip this last Fall.  The idea was I would review them while there.  However the trip took over and things like review pics/HNT pics/hell pics in general went out the window- we were in the moment and loving it.  After my return I fell into a funk - I missed my travel companion and the general warmth and sun.  The cold pre-winter sky was aiding my slide into depression.  The holidays came and went and all of a sudden it was the end of January.  I am making major surgical decisions and not thinking about reviews.  This was  followed by February and March which were spent in hospital and a drug induced fog and then recovery and now finally healing.  This long paragraph of excuses is to say this-here is my LONG overdue review. Putting my make up on using the rear view mirror I glanced at the temp gauge in my vehicle- yep - freezing. shit. figures.  why oh why can't we ever do a shoot when the temps are anything but freezing?  Jon H. likes the cold look in his pics I guess.

Walking down the small stretch of tracks between two main cross streets in town I knew I was going to freeze and decided to suck it up, relax (as not to have a puckered bottom side in the pics) and get it over with.  I can do this (after a small dose of whining)  Here is what we came up with-

 with the cute bow and ruffle accents makes a great piece to have in your treasure trove of lingerie.  The front reversible satin is pink with black OR black with pink highlights- how fun!
The back is sheer black. The set comes with a sheer black thong, for the sake of pictures I switched these out.  I ordered a size M.

What I liked-

• The closure was in the back which allowed full coverage in the front
• The sheer back allowed for give, which is nice if you aren't a perfectly sculpted size 5 (and who is anymore?)
• It was comfortable, yet sexy
• It's reversible- black or pink, you chose
• The corset comes down quite far- which allows for full tummy coverage (thank you, and yes please)

What I didn't like-

• It was a bit too big for me
• It was most likely a sizing thing, but it was a bit "gapy" the material bulged under my arms and chest. (of  course if I had bigger boobs this wouldn't be a problem!)
• I did not achieve the hour glass shape it promised (again, most likely a sizing issue on my part)
  
• Because the corset does come down so far it isn't ideal for wearing with a skirt or jeans
• I am not a fan of thongs- they don't work with my C-Section scar (just being honest) these seemed particularly small for how large the corset was

all and all this is a great piece that I am happy to add to my collection. So soft, so sweet, so pink, so sexy .

I have been working non-stop for 16 hrs today (ok, I took a bit of a nap for an hr)
Even when Os asked if I had a OHNT for this week I didn't take the time to get my post up and ready.  I even took pics for tonight.....sigh.

Soooooooo.......

I was asked the other day (via email) how I am doing this week.  They wanted a medical update.

Ask and you shall receive dear friend!  I have tried to back off from the medical updates because I started feeling like a retired Senior Citizen- the ones that have nothing else to talk about other than their (or others) medical ailments.  But, I do understand I have left the story untold now haven't I?

A Medical Summary:
:: I survived my 1/2 hr long CT scan followed by a series of kpat xrays (I have super powers from all the radiation now)
:: I had my stent out last Thursday
:: It was HORRIFIC and painful, and the worse stent removal I have had
:: He had to rescope me to exam my kidney- it is swollen
:: There is no sort of pain med, or numbing agent used to insert the scope through your pee hole and fish around
:: I go back later this week to have kidney reexamined
:: I immediately felt SO much better once stent was out
:: I have been very very very sleepy since, I do believe this is because my body finally has permission to heal
:: After my appointment I have had a chiropractic adjustment at our Wellness Center and a 1/2 hr. 'healing' massage for my incision area and work done on the area between my shoulder blades (where I have carried my pain through tension)
:: I will keep having 1/2 hr massages once a week for a month.  It is time to heal.
:: On the Friday (1 day) after my stent came out I had the first conscious thought about someone outside of myself!  I realized how self absorbed and turned in I was and had to be (to survive).  It was lovely to be able to think of something other than pain.
:: My activity and energy level have already increased and I ran across the yard this morning without a thought about it (until I got the house and realized I ran- pain free)

:: I AM RECOVERY
:: I AM HEALING
:: FOR THIS I AM HAPPY!

Pain is invisible

There is no color to pain (like a bruise), noone can see that you are in pain as you walk down the street, It is something that a person just has to understand- yet can't . Sigh.....

Seriously it would be more productive for me to bang my head against this brick wall, or to pull my own hair out than it would be to bitch about my state of pain right now. However, I AM in pain, and it DOES suck!!! (a lot)

Yet I must carry on with carrying on.

I taught a class last night from 6-8 then came home and ran to a customers house for a business call from 8:15-8:45pm came home and put the four sprouts to bed, went through orders with hubby for a bit and finally decided i needed the couch- where I sat for the rest of the night. Morning finds me back on the couch thinking of all the things I need to be doing.

Pain is a funny thing. Noone can see it (including yourself) maybe if pain emitted a color it would be more bearable - OHHH here comes Sarah, look at the green glow around her, man she must NOT be feeling well..... But, no , it doesn't and that leaves me in the same position I have been in most of my life. Quietly bitching on the inside and continuing on on the outside.

Today I will fold laundry, clean up the house (again), make a decent meal for supper (since I haven't for awhile now), make some nutritious snacks for around here- time to ditch the crap. Then if I can I will do some business too. Here I go- because pain is invisible. I will continue to beat my head against the same wall for a few more hours

p.s. as I sit here (this is gross, you may not want to read) I am slowly-ever so slightly- leaking urine. It is a promise that my stent did move Sunday and something is not right. Tomorrow at 12:45 will be the best time/day in months and months.

21 Questions..... Yep, where I spill a bit each week

 

1. What age to you think is a good age for someone to lose their virginity? (Chapter Two)
this is where people are going to disagree with me, and it is also where my upbringing is going to shine through, but I strongly believe a person should wait until after High School if not then senior year of High School.  I say this because I just don't think most teenagers have the emotional capacity to handle the emotional side of it all, not to mention the reputation/rumors etc. Of course I am not picturing a long term relationship here either....... sigh.  I know hate on me- I don't care.

2.What is the weirdest position you have ever been in that you were sure would not work but did?? (Angel)  are we talking about sexual positions here? I'm going to assume that is what is being asked here ....so...... ummmm

oh- I know!  standing.not that standing is odd, but it never works for me- height differences and loss of balance and such, but there was one time last summer maybe that OH MY GOD wow, yes, and more please.  however no matter how many times we tried to recreate it- it was never the same....sigh.....

3. Worst Date ever? (D. Scandal)
I got hit on A LOT in college, (I was young and dumb and didn't realize how great this was- rather I was annoyed by it) I told my friend that if a guy would just come up to me and say "Hey, my name is ________, how are you?"  I'd go out with him.  Well- doy! wouldn't you know that is exactly what happened later that night while we were playing darts (I used to be quite the ace at darts)- so I went out with him.  Ick, Ack, Ughhhh he was not bad looking but a major creepy guy- he would NOT stop touching my butt, and even to this day I can't stand having my ass touched and the more I asked him not to do it the more he did (stating I'd get used to it/learn to love it)  *Shudder* he still wins as creep #1 even though I have dated creepier  he always stands out.

4. Do you have any problems asking your partner for what you want in bed? (Boobies)
Yes. Yes I do.  I am not aggressive at all.  Plus it hasn't always turned out favorably for me to ask for what I want, and has been easier to just shut my mouth- sigh......

I'd go with a 6 or 7 depending upon the person, situation, and amount of alcohol.  There is some kinky shit I have absolutely no desire to partake in, but there is some  ....  mmmhmmm there are a few  :)

Yes- I guess I do. But not everyone is good at it, just sayin.  What is best is when it is so good you both end up smiling so hard you bump teeth......errrr, at least it was that good once.

Oh there is a fine line isn't there.  Don't be a drinking fountain, don't ram it down my throat- it doesn't need to move into my mouth and stay...... kissing is an art for sure.

I'd prefer my partner to be a good kisser. I've learned to deal with it if not.

not in a sexual manner - no!  but when referring to my hubby's penis (outside of the bed) I will say "your peter is ........"  comes from college when I was young and shy, and I don't use it that much anymore.

Yes- but it isn't "that way" I am not holding out to be a bitch, I just can't do it. It feels wrong and forced on me.  If I am very upset with him I do not want his dick in me- ugghhhhh!

I'm sorry, what? I couldn't hear you- I think the reception is bad through here.

Easy peasy! My stomach.  I had twins, I gained almost 100 lbs in 7 months time.  We then lost one of the babies.  It is a battle scar that hurts to look at daily, it is like a bowl of punched down bread dough and it saddens me and makes me very self conscious every.single.day.

No  :(

19. What are your bed sheets like?
Right now?  (I have about 6 sets) Today they are cotton white with a black swirly pattern on them.  I like them, they are soft. The majority of the year they are flannel.

Not in the water - (and yes I've tried)
I seem to have a issue with that working (sticky) and around here the mosquitoes would carry you away at night. So I guess I am not seeing it- but a tropical beach somewhere? Maybe so....I'd like to find out
