Our second annual Cunningham 4 day camping trip to the McCloud reservoir in Northern, CA. We love this spot because it's in the middle of nowhere so there are never crowds of people and yet it's so beautiful with cliff jumping off waterfalls, hiking trails up the mountains, a huge reservoir and big, isolated camping spaces.
Peytenn and Bailey caught a fish (with Uncle Enoch's help)
One of the beautiful falls the boys all jumped off of.
Bailey and Chris fishing off a little platform off the river.
Bailey's little pink fishing pole DOES work! (I had to test it :)
Catching crawdads with Uncle Josh
When you gotta go, you gotta go...Bailey has always been really good at going to the bathroom outdoors :)
Peytenn and Bailey playing in the river
Chris' mom caught a couple bats and Chris had brought some lab stuff with him to extract the brains and study in the lab...haha such a scientist!
Bailey took swimming lessons this summer for the first time! She learned to swim around on the noodle all by herself, put her head under water, and float on her back. She LOVED swimming!
Bailey took Ballet again this summer and loved that as well. She learned different techniques and the five ballet positions.
Chris celebrated his 27th birthday on June 17th. Bailey and I got him a kindle and amazon giftcard to order new books for it!
I spent a lot of the summer in this spot when I wasn't studying Spanish or playing with little Bailey. I was working on a Chopin nocturne, Chopin Waltz in e minor and a Beethoven Sonata in G Major.
We went on lots of family hikes this summer. Coming home from this one, Bailey fell asleep with a bottle full of tadpoles in her lap that we had caught in the river while hiking.
We spent lots of time in the water this summer! We went to Discovery Bay again this year with some friends and stayed a night in their summer house and went wakeboarding, jet skiing and boating and had so much fun! We also went to Lake of the Woods in Oregon for the 4th of July weekend with the Cunninghams and Whitneys. We all stayed a few nights in the cabin and spent the weekend boating, tubing, water skiing, fishing and soaking in the sun! The fireworks were magnificent over the water and Bailey even stayed awake to see them!

The cabin at Lake of the Woods. Enoch begging us to take him tubing:)

The huge water trampoline! Lots of fun jumping and playing "King of the Rock"--also was a nice sunbathing floaty :)

Bailey's cute built in life jacket bathing suit (since she spent so much time out on the dock).

Bailey and Chris tubing (VERY slowly!)

Papa "with no hair" (as Bailey calls him) fishing.

We had lots of visits from family this summer. One weekend, Hope and mom came to visit and we went to the Sacramento Zoo and Funderland! The girls had so much fun and got to feed a giraffe, ride a roller coaster and have a fun weekend together!
Earlier in the summer we had a visit from Chris' family! We all went to Great America in San Jose, which is only a couple hours away from Davis. Bailey LOVED going on the rides. She is such a thrill-seeker, always wanting to be pushed higher on the swings, and she especially loved the ride that takes you up high and drops, getting her face painted, and seeing Snoopy the dog. We also spent time walking around the arboretum that weekend--feeding the ducks and enjoying the nice weather and eachother's company:)
