Happy New Year to all. I hope peace and joy and good health accompany you in the days ahead. Enjoy your Friday. I wouldn’t complain if we all find some some restorative rest in the coming weekend.

The day after Christmas is one of my favorite days. Boxing Day, St. Stephen’s Day…for me, it’s sleeping-in day. The pressures of the past month have all but dissipated. You continue to celebrate, but the work’s all done. And the leftovers are wonderful.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all of you. Enjoy your Friday, and have a great weekend.

These are busy days, aren’t they? So much to accomplish and a hard deadline. The to-do list in my head isn’t totally out-of-control but a little bit oppressive. I’ve got cookies to bake this weekend, and I can enjoy that. But at some point, there will be flour and sugar on the floor, and my back will be aching. To find some gentle moments to savor the peaceful merriment of the season: That’s what I wish for all of us this week.

Happy Hanukkah!

These December days go by quickly, and I wouldn’t mind if they slowed down. There aren’t any more flowers blooming outside, but my Christmas Cactus adds a bit of cheery color to my indoor plants. I hope you have a happy Friday and a pleasant weekend.
