Dressed-up dolls, music, and fun—
A feast for all, and the parks are full.
But you look skinny, down, and dull.
Crows are calling; the damage is done.
Dept
What I see may not be what you see
You might look at the surface
But I look at the sea
You might look at the cry but I see the Scarface
The band
Hand in hand, the big boy’s band,
Spears and arrows and the bad witch’s wand.
The trumpet was blown on grains of sand,
The pack then marched on dead man’s land.
The Show
When a play is written and the actors are cast,
It’s just a matter of time before the show begins.
The Play may end, but the impressions will last,
And then a new day begins.
The horseman
Then came the horseman broad and tall
Who ruled the land for a long while
Thousands saw their kingdom fall
The horseman walked in style
When the horseman fell, his kin was crowned
Who started rampaging soon after
kingdoms were crushed and the week were drowned
He walked like there is no here-after
Now the kin is pale and losing his charm
The brother is stepping up the ladder
He ate all the cattle in his neighbor’s farm
and burnt their shed and fodder
Metaphor
How nice!
I can say without saying
Beat without beating
Punch without punching
And get away with it.
There’s much more to that
Words spoken when heart’s broken
Has depth as deep as the ocean bed
Where every letter shines so bright.
This is a world of bewilderment
where no one sees what I can see
No one hears what I can hear
No one feels what I can feel
While I can rest assured.
How nice I found this comfy world
And how comfortable I am
I needn’t worry about the doorbell ring
And there’s nothing that money can buy.
I can walk in and out as I please
No prior appointments needed
I can stay here as long as I want
Because this is where I wish to be
Rest in peace
I was dead for over an year
I was no way near
Now that I am back
With my old backpack
That still has an airliner tag
Awful jet lag!
Mic drop!
So, where did we stop?
I remember little bit
I wasn’t very fit
Well, long story short
A nightmare I caught
In a broad day light
But that’s alright
I am a crown without a king
Bird without a wing
A bee that couldn’t sting
Yea, Poor little thing!
I got too much in my chest
And when they lay me to rest
I might weigh well over a ton
Pardon the pun
Good night, honey bun 😉
Soothsayer
So far, you’ve had a lovely time
You’ve had your life your way
But as the barefoot Wiseman once said
Every good thing comes to an end.
Life goes on and it has to. That’s the beauty of it.
Only this time it will be black and white
Because all the hues will be taken
To make your life a bit more miserable.
Your wait will be over soon
A new beginning wrapped up with thorns
Packed with care so you can open it slowly
For the rest of your life
I am sorry
I’ve hurt you! I know I’m bad. It’s sad
I’m mad, I can’t change myself.
I’ve tried, I’ve cried,
I’ve washed myself and dried but failed.
Deep inside I’m jailed.
I’m nailed not to the cross but to the coffin.
I’m not a human, I’m a beast, to say the least.
Atleast, I know who I am.
I can’t help but stare into the night sky
And ask Him ‘why?’, can I die and come-by?
My heart is dry. I won’t lie, I’ve made you cry.
I am sorry. I don’t know if it is too late.
But, if that’s my fate I will bite the bait.
Let my inner monster have me in his plate.
They are here!
Here, they come; here, they come
They’re all your eyes can see.
Birds are quiet, crickets are mum
And guess who might that be?
They plucked the flowers one by one
Yet, no eyebrows were raised
Whilst a bunch of fools were having fun
Their carpets were erased!
Moon talk

Sneak Peak
Why do you carry it all along
When I am here to take a bite
I know the lyrics to your favorite song
Why don’t we sneak out tonight?
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
There is nothing to look for, there’s nothing ahead
Call it a day and go to bed
For you just had a dog’s day
Sadly on your birthday.
Happy birthday!
Reminder
What’s yours is yours!
Not a penny more, not a penny less.
There’s nothing wrong in chasing your dreams
There’s nothing wrong in keeping hope
But you’ll get exactly what’s yours at the end of the rope.
Freeway
I am on a freeway full of speed breakers,
Potholes and check points.
I wonder when will I get past the hurdles
And swiftly cruise my way
Patience
‘Patience is virtue’, they say.
That’s absolutely correct; I say
What do you say?
Arrogance?
I know what to write, if you know what you’re reading
I could be funny if I’m not bleeding
There are many in my league but I am leading
Thanks for reading!
The hunter became the hunted!
Dense foliage blocked the sun
Bloody chase had just begun
The hunter stormed with his gun
To gun down the leopard that was on the run.
The mighty beast weighed over a ton
The hunter was simply having fun
That’s when he tripped and dropped his gun
It was the leopard’s turn to get things done
Cool?
So, she tells me what to do
And she sets the rules
But I am not one of those fools
That wags the tail and drools
Birdy
I am like a bird and I am flying high
I am a free spirit. No band-aids, no bonds!
I’ve got wings that takes me to the sky
Over the mountains and across the ponds.
Back to square one!
Sometimes you think you’re there,
But you’re not.
Sometimes you wonder where…
Stop it! You’ve been dreaming a lot!
Wickedly clever
People come, people go
Few stick on, others let go
Some that are clever put up a show
While others are hard to know.
Africa!
You’re deep in my heart, listen, yeh man!
I miss Africa!
Man can’t be this nice, you must be a woman.
You’re not ‘Mister’, you’re ‘Miss Africa’!
All yours
Mighty earth swallow me
Dark clouds take me up
Wildfire enguf me
Fiery sun burn me up!
Illusion
I ran into a maze of illusion
I saw nothing but fakery
I burned my fingers before jumping off
Narrowly escaping slavery
