With the  help of this friend of mine, Ax, who have been blogging for some quite time and whom I consider influential, he gave me a list of websites.  I then explored each website and have chosen my infuential blogs, the boldest in the blogosphere!  Here they are, my Top 10 Influential Blogs:

1. Ax Realm whom I know personally.  He really is influential not just in blogging but also in person.  I love his writing-artworks, how he constructs words and each amazing title of his composition about Humpty Dumpty through the Beginning of Time.
2. Jason Hamster the Spamster. Just like Ax, this one cool dude will make you laugh on his posts and will amaze you how he is good at painting.. using the old-time-painting program.
3. Lio Loco and his idiosyncrasies.  This guy is one hell of a writer.  He could write everything in one sitting, arrange his words in a unique manner in english language or in vernacular.
4. Muffie Shannen the tech girl who loves to write about gadgets, machines, programs, blog tips and everything SEO.
5. Jan of Writing to Exhale. Well, you see, need I say most? He is one of the leading in Top 10 Influential Blogs of 2009.
6. Tsi Remo who is also one of the spammers.  You will see him everywhere winning contests. Truly influential not just to his co bloggers but also to his readers.
7. Good Times Manila.   His humor can make every celebrity like Angel Locsin to beg for their career’s mercy. Together with his  hundred followers, he is really influential.
8. Crisiboy who talks about technology and everything in between money and internetz.
9. Pickleminded who had just started her blog recently that is now making noises in the blogosphere.  She talks about Twilight and Chocolates and also Voda Phones.
10. Blu of BluRoseBluGuy who inspires people every time he writes. This guy attracts people because of his make-me-think posts.

Yes, because these boldest blogs of all influences everyone.

Hi, I am pinoy!  And I want to spread the ‘Help the Philippines’ Virus!

I have known Ax but he is not that ‘guy’ when we were high school.  Ax is the literary editor of our two newspapers in back then. And he was not that good in English that is why he wanted the Filipino newspaper.  He would write about insanity and death and weird poems.  He hated writing about the politics because he doesn’t have idea about Philippines’ history.

I remember Ax Realm’s composition entitled, “Bakit Nakakatakot ang Kalayaan” (printed in our Ang Haraya newspaper).  This is about freedom of the seven continents.  What if we were free to do things? What if we have liberty to kill people, rape women, and support war?  What if we are free to bomb any political territory and partake in genocide? What if we are free to do such things?  Is that the essence of freedom?

Why am I telling these things?

I also wanted to help the Philippines attain true liberty.  Freedom from opression, from hunger.  Our government having a free will to do political decisions with good intentions for our country.  Freedom from society’s racism.  And for every kid to have rights of life and to their education.  And all unborn kids enjoying their right to have a better tomorrow, a better Philippines.

I wanted to support the komiks industry of the Philippines. I remembered buying komiks when I was a kid and it sadden me that I can’t see any stall that sells traditional komiks just like yesteryears.

I will follow road signs and will respect the pedestrian lane.  I will attest to wrong deeds of policemen.  I will not be afraid to appear in court if I witnessed any crime.  I will no longer fear fighting for a better government.

I will make a company and employ Filipino citizens.  I will help boost the Philippines‘ economy.  I will be one good leader.

And I will be a good citizen of the Philippines.

Because I can.  I am a Filipino, remember?!

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It’s when you know you’re licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what.

Courage, it would seem, is nothing less than the power to overcome danger, misfortune, fear, injustice, while continuing to affirm inwardly that life with all its sorrows is good; that everything is meaningful even if in a sense beyond our understanding; and that there is always tomorrow.

Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.

To understand reality is not the same as to know about outward events. It is to perceive the essential nature of things. The best-informed man is not necessarily the wisest. Indeed there is a danger that precisely in the multiplicity of his knowledge he will lose sight of what is essential. But on the other hand, knowledge of an apparently trivial detail quite often makes it possible to see into the depth of things. And so the wise man will seek to acquire the best possible knowledge about events, but always without becoming dependent upon this knowledge. To recognize the significant in the factual is wisdom.

It is no longer enough to be smart — all the technological tools in the world add meaning and value only if they enhance our core values, the deepest part of our heart. Acquiring knowledge is no guarantee of practical, useful application. Wisdom implies a mature integration of appropriate knowledge, a seasoned ability to filter the inessential from the essential.
