Hello and welcome back to my channel. I have an album I think you will love. It is very easy to put together and it is big! This will be an amazing album for a wedding! I'm using the exclusive collection from Country Craft Creations called "Here Comes the Bride" and it is an exquisite collection. The images and colors are amazing. Head over to Country Craft Creations.

During the tutorial I reference a couple of my past tutorials.

Lay Flat Cover Method How to make a stacked waterfall Summer Adventure Mini Album (with tag closure) Below is a cut list and supply list for this project. I used quite a bit of product for this album. The cover is 10x10" and has a 2 1/2" spine. The pages are 9 1/2 x 9 1/2". I used 19 sheets of black cardstock, 3 of Pearl Sheen Gold and 2 of Pearl Sheen Natural. This count DOES NOT INCLUDE extra cardstock used for mats (other than listed below) and mats for cutaparts...I used scraps. I did use almost all of the patterned paper in this collections. I had one 12 x 12 sheet left over and lots of scraps. Because of the size of this album it did take a lot of paper. You will also need seambinding for closures and 2 large magnets. I hope you enjoy the project. I am trying very hard to make sure that the information is accurate. I'm human. If you notice something and/or have a question please ask. I am always willing to help. SUPPLY LIST: Here Comes the Bride Paper Collection Chipboard (Heavy) Art Glitter Glue Score Tape Artisan Cardstock: Black, Pearl Sheen Gold and Pearl Sheen Natural Graphic 45 Tags Lace: The exact lace I used is not available but there are many other selections to choose from Seam Binding in Black, and Ivory Large Magnets Flowers CUTTING LIST: (All cardstock is black unless otherwise noted) Chipboard: 2 -1 0 x 10 1 - 2 1/2 x 10 Cardstock to cover chipboard: 2 - 12 x 12 1 - 5 1/2 x 12 1 - 5 1/2 x 9 7/8 Base Pages: 4 - 9 1/2 x 10 1/4 Inside Covers Flaps: 2 - 8 x 8 1/2 Pockets: 2 - 3 1/2 x 11 Pinwheel Pages (Front page 1 and back page 4) 8 - 4 3/4 x 5 1/4 2 - 4 x 4 I used 8 pieces of Pearl Sheen Natural to mat the backs of these pinwheel pages, 4 5/8 x 4 5/8

Midnight Kiss Exchangeable Banner Tutorial

HELLO! It's almost the new year...finally, right?

I had an idea and this is the tutorial! I am using the magnificent paper collection by Country Craft Creations called "Midnight Kiss". It is a beautiful collection for New Year's, and also could be used for any fancy "night on the town". It is available at Country Craft Creations exclusively.

I made a banner, but there are a few different things with this banner.

First, it is "offset", meaning it has an angle to it, which is a little different. Second, it is exchangeable! I found a beaded garland and had an idea...hang the garland, and make the banner pieces so that you can exchange them out! How many of us make banners for decorations? This way, with this idea, you can leave the garland up, and just exchange banner pieces for different holidays and events. I hope you enjoy the tutorial!!

There is a detailed description of the supplies you need to make this project in the video's description. Just click on the picture and it will take you to YouTube! And don't forget to check out Country Craft Creations for your paper crafting needs.

Happy EVERYTHING!!

A new design team project!

I have a new package from Country Craft Creations and I have made my first design team project with it.
I am using Authentique's "Purebred" paper collection and it is GORGEOUS!!!  I love the colors and the images are spectacular. It is suited for dogs and cats, and it inspired this project.
I constructed a treat holder for your pet with this collection.  As you can see in the photo below, it holds a full bag and some!  Plenty of room to store treats and it looks beautiful!  I used flowers, bling, and buttons from my stash.  I also used Glossy Accents on the paws, hearts and the bone on the paper.    Foam tape raises up the front element to give some more dimension.

I have a tutorial on YouTube and you can find it here.  I hope you like it, I had fun with the construction, and I even came up with a different lid construction that I think you will like.
Pop on over to Country Craft Creations to get your supplies, and go on over to YouTube and see how to make it.  You will love it!
Stay Crafty, My Friends!!!🐶

Journey Album Cutting Guide

Hello!

My first Design Team Project  tutorial is uploaded onto YouTube and ready to view!  HOORAY!!!

The video can be found here!

I have the measurements for all of the cardstock cutting in the video information and I also tell the dimensions as we go through the piece, but I also made a guide.  The cutting guide's purpose is so that we can maximize the use of our cardstock and not waste it.  Cardstock is precious!

Here is the link to the PDF cutting guide so you can print it off and use it!

Thanks for supporting me, and please let me know if you have any questions!  Also, if you do make this project I would LOVE to see it, so let me know!

Short Chunky Mini Album with Tutorial

Good morning, everyone!  Today I am bringing you the "little sister" of my "Tall Skinny Mini" album that I did several years ago.  This album was been in the works for a long time, it was shelved for a while, but she is back and done and I can't wait to show you.

She is 6" wide by 8 1/2" tall and has 5 page configurations.  I'll explain that in a minute.
Her spine is 3" wide.  I used an OLD collection of a combination of Recollections "Memories Documented" and Simple Stories "Documented" for this book.  I have a bunch left over and I think I want to make another one!
The pages are made for a combination of 20 different ways to fold and/or cut (slightly) 8 1/2"x11" card stock.  I came up with the method when doing my Tall Skinny Mini album, and adapted it.

There is, however, a difference in that I combined 2-3 of the pages onto one "signature" or page configuration.  There are literally 100's of ways to combine these pages and create a truly one of a kind, interactive album.
These are just some of the pages.  Yes, just SOME.  The pages flip and flap and have pockets and hidden spaces.
There are clips not only holding tags on, but holding flips and flaps in place.
I incorporated belly bands into the book.  There are mats to hold 4x6 pictures and 3x4 pictures.
I figured out how to attach different pages together to make one big interactive piece for each assembly.
This album just keeps going and going.  The paper collection was so pretty that I just wanted to keep using it.
I hope you like this.  If so, please check out the YouTube videos I published today.

The picture below is the last page before the cover...but wait, there's more...
Here it is, with a belly band holding tags...
This opens into a triple page.  I really love how it came out!

Project Share!

Back on New Year's Eve, the group from Country Craft Creations had an evening of fun scrap-a-long projects that they did live tutorials on.  I finished a couple of these projects and thought you would like to see them.  Click on the link above and check out their store, and go on the YouTube channels.  They have a ton of awesome tutorials and the design team is out of this world!

The first project I made was a "Scrapper Keeper" designed by Bobbie Weaver.  Her YouTube channel is The Paper Jungle.  The project is designed to keep scraps of papers from projects used.
It took just a few sheets of paper and some card stock.  She also has a genius way of making her pockets that I am going to incorporate into my books from now on!
I used the keeper to store my scraps from this paper kit.  I think it turned out awesome!  There's even a tall "slot" so you can keep your 12" scraps in order!
I also made the following "Weight Loss Folio" by Kim Blank Rannells.  Her YouTube channel is called Kim Kan't Stop Krafting.
I love this paper by Simple Stories, and thought it would make a cute album.  I'm not sure exactly what I will use if form but I love it and I really want to make more of them.
She incorporates page protectors into her design.  There are envelopes and pockets and plenty of room for pictures and notes.

Isn't this just adorable?
On the inside back cover she put a pocket that you can slip a notebook into.  LOVE THIS!

Last, but certainly not least, Sandy Trefger had a tutorial for a Christmas Card Book.
Her YouTube channel is here.  If you are a card saver, this is a great project!  I made two of them, for 2017 and 2018.

You don't just put the cards in these albums, she is super creative and scrapped them!  This is my take on a page, the first one.  I used cards and some of my scrap supplies.

Here is a picture of the second one I made, all fanned out.  I love it!  I totally intend on doing this every year from now on.  My first two were simple but I am going to get more creative next year.

Sorry I was late this week.  I usually try to post on Monday's but I was super busy, so Wednesday it is this week.  Have a great week, and remember to stay crafty!

A Birthday Card for my Daughter

Here is the third project using the 4 Panel Twist Card style I found on YouTube by Sincerely Rita.
I love this!!!  They are so much fun to make!
This size card is actually an 8x8" card.  Sincerely Rita gave instructions for three sizes, but my brain went on and decided that I needed to figure out a different size, so I did.  I figured out the dimensions for this 8x8" card, and for a 10x10" card.  I haven't fully tested the 10x10" size yet, but when I do, I will give you all those dimensions as I figured them.  I used this cool paper line by Glitz, called "Birthday Wishes."  I fell in love with it!
One thing I did this time was that I covered the entire inside of the card base before attaching the mechanism and the panel to the inside of the card.  I think it made the card sturdier, and it worked out nicely!
So, I oopsied again, this picture is sideways, but you get the idea.  I cut out pieces to make the panel be part of the "message of the card".  The bottom "post card" is where we wrote our personal message.
Here is the card standing up.  It worked out great, and she loved it, and I loved making it!  I need to see what else I can so with this card style!

Have a creative day!

My "Gigantic Twist Pop Up Panel" Album

Here is project #2 using Sincerely Rita's tutorial on a Gigantic Twist Pop Up Panel Card.  Please go check out her tutorials, they are really wonderful!  I had this page kit that I got when Jackie and I went to an all day scrap put on by Embellish It!  I thought this would be the perfect collection to use for my album, and it was.
Since the gigantic part means it is 12x12, I decided to make this into an album, rather than a card.  This is my cover.  I only used the supplies from the paper collection and some yellow card stock from my stash.  In the video she used large paper, but I didn't have paper that was 12x24", so I made hinges from card stock and attached the papers to create the size I needed.
When you open the card, it is GIGANTIC and has LOTS OF ROOM for lots of pictures of someone's special day.
I love how it all turned out!
On each of the panels I attached the cards only on the edges, so that pictures or tags could be set behind them.

I created a pocket for a mini tag here.
This is cool!  The panels are 6x9" each.  I had 6x9" envelopes that I adhered to the back of the two middle panels so that I could add huge tags.  (MORE PICTURE ROOM!!!)
Here are the front of the tags...
...and the back of the tags.
And here I was trying to show the way that the envelopes are attached to the two middle panels of the pop up.

It turned out SO DARN CUTE!  and really big enough for a "mini" album of a day in the life of a birthday girl!

I hope you enjoyed this little post.  Go make one for yourself!!!  They are addictive...you will see how addicted I am next week!

Michelle💖
