In the Art Studio: What I’ve been up to from 11/8/24 to 12/4/24.

Hi all. It’s been a while since I’ve updated. I’ve had so much going on in my life! This time frame covers a 3 week period.  My family suffered what felt like a tragedy. My son-in-law abandoned the family on November 5th, so that was quite an adjustment for us mentally, emotionally, and financially. I…

In the Art Studio, What I’ve Been up To From October 24th to November 7th, 2024

This is all the art I’ve been up to these last 12 days. I made collages, oil pastel drawings, sharpie drawings, and mixed media paintings in response to therapy. About this art. It’s designed to be the background for the text that describes this website. I designed it so the purple text would show up overtop of the black background with the colors circling around it, but I noticed on the WordPress reader that it separates the text from the image so it just looks like a black hole. I don’t know how to fix this… but perhaps it could also be a portal into the Kingdom of God and the unknown future. We can’t really see it. We maybe only have a faint idea of what the future holds…But what we do know is that if we live for Christ He will be with us, so we can choose to trust Him with our lives, with the unknown, and even when the world maybe dark around us. There’s the promise of better things just waiting for us when we choose to partake in God’s Kingdom. We can see a hint of it through the portal. Will we trust God?- Probably only the people on WordPress Reader can see this art explanation. That’s ok. I only put it here because it looks strange without the text being on it.
