Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026.
It’s a new year everyone. You know what that means? Counting all my finishes, counting WIPs I have right now, and since I track it, hours stitched in the year.
So first of all, hours stitched in 2025….drumroll….. 340 hours. Yep, I did 340 hours of stitching in 2025. Not bad, I guess, when I don’t stitch every day. Sadly, though, I didn’t beat my yearly stitch amount from 2024. That year I did 369. When it was getting close to the end of the year my goal was to even get one hour more, but then Christmas really took a lot out of me and I just didn’t stitch much
Now for finishes.
2016 saw one finish, maybe two, but looking back at my records it shows only one.
2017 saw nine finishes.
2018 saw eight finishes.
2019 saw six finishes.
2020 got a big 12 finishes.
2021 saw two finishes.
2022 saw 12 finishes and then one UFO that I’m going to finish as is, so can you call that 13 then?
2023 saw five finishes.
2024 saw eight finishes and one UFO, that I still have to cut out stitching to throw out and save the rest of the fabric.
And 2025 saw seven finishes.
If you have read my blog before, you know that I then share pictures of the finishes, but I actually don’t have and can’t take pictures to show you all. So definitely the goal for this new year is to remember to take pictures of finished pieces before they are gifted. Then I can share with you all.
My other goal, which I had kind of made for myself in mid-year, was to get down to 10 WIPs. I also didn’t make it to that goal, but I do feel like I could get to ten WIPs not too far into the year.
Although I only stitched for a short amount of time since Flossmas ended, I’ll still show you.

I wanted to start the new year with a brief post. I think in my next post, I will show all my WIPs, as that involves taking them all out to get pictures.
Happy New Year everyone!
And happy stitching.
