Tier 16 previews are out.  Pally gear is pretty cool.  LFR – Meh…  Normal – I could live with that…  Heroic – Oh I wish!

I finally got a beta nod…  my first one since Wizardry II way back in ancient history.  I really don’t want to do all the questing yet, I’d rather wait till it’s live, but I’ve got to do some just to have a little fun 😉

So meet TaeBroo.  He’s only temporary, but at least I get a taste of the mechanics and other stuff.

Meet Pryncess.  She is the face of the current unemployment epidemic on Garona.  Her guild has stopped raiding altogether like so many others leaving her unemployed and without hope.  She has had to move out of the high rent Orgrimar district, and currently lives in a tent by the river fishing and rolling newbs for food.

You can help save her.  With a donation as little as one raid night per week (tuesdays or thursdays preferred), she can be fed, clothed, and trained to once again become a valued citizen of the Horde.  Cross-server raids are certainly accepted as she does have loyal ties to her guild that are stronger than her need to play.  She does feel sad for those that have left – clearly their priorities were seriously messed up.  But she does want to work, and promises to melt foes to small puddles under foot.

Okay, I’ll admit that this weeks raid was a bit frustrating at times, but it was all tempered by this

And the close-up detail.  I don’t think I have too much more to give, do you?  That number is absolutely insane!  Hopefully it makes our raid leaders very happy.   I just wish I could do that all the time.  But even without our full, regular group, we still got through the whole thing relatively easily.  So that was good.

And then sunday, running randoms on my druish princess, I came across this tank.  It was pretty good, he kept up the persona through the entire run.  I kind of wish I had gotten more screen shots of these. 🙂

Finally!  We got Deathwing down on Saturday.  I was really feeling the pressure because as of Saturday, I was going to be missing out on next Saturday, and again the whole of the following weekend.  So I really, REALLY, wanted him down.  Did I remember to say that I really wanted Deathwing down?  Now it looks like I’m only going to be missing the one Saturday…  Whew!  We went in, sat around for a bit waiting for something or other, then got started.  For the full rundown of how the night went, feel free to stop in at Repgrind or Looking for More.  They’re both much better writers than me.  I could be a great writer, if I could ever come up with something to write about 😉

And on the third attempt, Ado brilliantly called for us to ignore the second set of adds, and Deathwing dropped like the Hindenberg.
