Doctors at the Pocatello Free Clinic at 429 Washington Ave. have the advantage of an on site pharmacist to allow complete care for residents in need of their services. Unfortunately, the storage of medicines on the floor or this close to the ceiling is a violation of fire code caused by the crowded conditions.

The Pocatello Free clinic can only work with support from the community and volunteers like Sam Perry. Sam attends Idaho State University as a pharmacy student and volunteers his time to work at the clinic every Friday.

Sam Perry, A volunteer at the Pocatello Free Clinic at 429 Washington. Is concerned about the high volume of patients that he sees coming through the door. “This building was built in the 1920’s and is not in compliance with A.D.A.regulations” Perry says. The Clinic is asking the City of Pocatello for a new building to accommodate the increase in demand for medical and dental services by the less fortunate.
