24 January 2026:

A new page of Dead Winter is ready to read! https://deadwinter.cc/page/680 Liz found her culprit, but Nate isn’t out of the hot seat just yet.
This is the 680th page, which means we’re in the last 20 pages of Dead Winter before I try to hit my final update. With my update pace that won’t be for a little while, but it feels close. Thanks for coming along the ride with me, let’s see it through to the finish line.
25 July 2025:

Big news today: Dead Winter’s third and final musical action scene is now complete and ready to read from beginning to end. To make sure it lands right, I prepared two pages for this update, so you’ve got both deadwinter.cc/page/674 and deadwinter.cc/page/675 to read, make sure you don’t skip one!
I started this scene back in September, just after we shipped Kitsune Tails. It’s been one of my biggest attempts at choreography to date. If you want to take it from the top, you can start scene right here and read along with your own personal copy of the original song: deadwinter.cc/page/664.
Thanks for sticking around and being patient with these updates. I’m extremely tired and I am gonna lay down, but I’m glad that this whole big thing is in the archives, once and for all.

Dead Winter is an action-filled modern fantasy/sci-fi horror story about a post-apocalypse living-dead zombie infested present-day world. It isn't really about zombies, though. It's about people. It follows the lives of a rag-tag group of survivors who struggle to further their agendas and live through a lawless, disease-torn reality where everyday job skills take on new uses and nothing ever really goes according to plan.
