I’m sitting on about $220k in cash right now. I still owe $149k on our forever home at 3.25%, with about 15 years left on the mortgage. I know, mathematically, I could probably earn a higher return by investing the money instead. But honestly, I’m really tempted to just pay off t
I want to give a huge shoutout to @midi002 for making this list (and setting it up on its own site, too). I was perusing the site when I noticed you are also keeping a historical record of data pulls. So appreciate that you thought to do that! The way I've been currently us

Just curious, it seemed like sure a random find. Looks pretty promising. Hopefully this app doesn't get devoured by AI and advertisments
Sharing why I’m really excited about Digg coming back. I never had Instagram/FB/Twitter growing up. I wasted a lot of time on Reddit though. I have lots of fond memories from high school browsing memes while board in class. The incentives of a company like Reddit has an unfort
The worst part that should not come over here is what is happening in reddit where you have super moderators of like 40-50 subreddits and allowing the banning of users just because they posted in some other subreddit etf.l
I’m being intentionally naive and hopeful in writing this post. I haven’t posted on the internet in probably 4-5 years. I browse, sure, but I left Facebook, instagram and Twitter years ago. I was basically only using Reddit and trying to limit my use to only browsing one communit

I've noticed that a few of my posts have been shadowed if I'm on ProtonVPN. This doesn't seem to be the case with comments as much as posts, but I've noticed it happen on both.Doesn't look like "shadow banning" is a thing that will happen as a result of VPN use (so far) , but sha
When accessing Digg over plain HTTP (for example by navigating directly to `digg.com/digg`, as basically any user would do) the page loads without redirecting to HTTPS. In this state, the session appears unauthenticated and the site is served over HTTP rather than TLS. This cr
One of the many issues with Reddit is the fact that it will repeatedly show you the same posts over and over again. On Digg, if I’ve seen the post, I really don’t need to see it again.…and again.…and again.
I think it could feel nice to hear others share with vulnerability about something they realized about themselves. Maybe something you were wrong about or a way you acknowledged a shortcoming and committed to being better. Finally admitting to past traumas and committing to h

I'm gonna go with one I never hear folks talk about, PHP (Pinthouse Pizza). I've attached my favorite slice in the past few years, unfortunately I don't think they have it anymore. It had honey! It was so good!!!!
