Blog Hop by Smeared Ink

Good morning to all my Smeared Ink loving friends,

It’s going to be an awesome day! A lot of Smeared Ink goodness!

The 2 T’s decided it’s time for another Blog Hop. The Theme for this one is to use any stamp from Smeared Ink. If your wondering, no they are not re-opening. Sad I know 😦

If you are following the Blog Roll then you arrived here from Susan Salyer at: Lily and the Lotus. I do hope you enjoyed her project. Now onto what I have created for this Hop.

I really wanted to use the Grumpie red rubber stamp set, and so I did. I created 2 cards and one art journal page.

Card one:

For this card I stamped my Grumpie image onto X-Press It CS using Tuxedo Black Memento. I then colored this with Copic Sketch markers.

The back ground was created using TH’s Distress Oxide Inks, and a stencil from “The Crafters Workshop.” I first sponged on London Fog onto some Whip Cream CS from FSJ. Then I sponged on the Distress Oxide Ink in Fired Brick. I then flicked water on it to create that distressed oxide look.

I also used the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink on the vine die cut and the grass, in Pistachio. Followed by more water flicking. The grass, vine, and fall die cuts are from Fun Stampers Journey.

Card two:

For this card I stamped my Grumpie Witch image onto X-Press It CS using Tuxedo Black Memento. I then colored this with Copic Sketch markers. I used Copic marker re-inkers for the back ground. The Moon stamp, card stock, black twine, and the “Clear Silk” I flicked on there is from Fun Stampers Journey.

Art Journal Page:

July-Blog-Hop-2017-3-AJ

This is a Black Art Journal Book by Dylusions. I used several different Dylusion paints and stencils fro the back ground. I added some washi tape and stickers from stash. The words that are in Type Set are apart of the Grumpies stamp set. These Grumpies were also stamped onto X-Press It CS using Tuxedo Black Memento. I then colored this with Copic Sketch markers. I flicked “Silver Silk” from Fun Stampers Journey on here.

I really do hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog. I personally really did enjoy playing and creating with these mischievous Grumpies!

LOC’s Challenge #155 Fairy Tales with A Day For Daisies

Hello friends,

Time for a new challenge here at: LOC- Left of Center Creative challenges. This week it’s all about “Fairy Tales.” Tell us about your favorite Fairy Tale, and create a project using that as inspiration. If it’s not clear from your project, make sure you let us know what the fairy tale is about in your post. Of course link your project up to the LOC challenge blog.

I was able to choose my image from the ADFD store. I picked the digital image called “Pretty Apple.” (Follow the link to get yours.)  “Pretty Apple” shows the Evil Queen in disguise giving the poisoned apple to Snow White. The first ever, Disney animated full length movie “Snow White.” is truly one of my all time favorites. Wich has now been brought back to life in the made for TV series “Once Upon a Time.” I adore this show, and mostly I adore the Evil Queen in this. I look forward to each week, seeing the Evil Queen’s outfits, her costumes are so magnificently beautiful!

For my DT project this week I created an Art Journal page:

I colored my “Pretty Apple” digital stamp from ADFD with Copic Sketch markers. I then glued it on top of my AJ page.

For the background first I used a stencil with Dylusions Paint in Vibrant Turquoise. Followed by a spider web rubber stamp, a caution stamp, and a crackle stamp.

The big skull is a ‘Rub-on’ from Recollections. I found some shiny apple stickers in my stash. The yellow flower an vine is a Spellbinders die.

With an anatomical heart mould, and a skeleton hand mould, and clear resin I created the pieces above the image.

The butterfly is a thick die from “Fun Stampers Journey.” I added a metal mushroom charm on the grass.

LOC #153 Halloween with Bugaboo Stamps

New challenge this week posted for LOC- Left of Center Creative challenges.

For this challenge I was provided with the digital stamp called “halloween silhouette,” (Follow the link to get yours.)

What I used to create this card:

The image comes to me as a jpeg file. I sized it on a word doc. then printed it with my Laser printer. Because the foil reacts to the toner. I then used purple foil and laid it on top of the image, then ran it through my mini “Minc” machine.

For the background I used “Rich Sorbets” Pan Pastels from “Fun Stampers Journey.”

The die cut is from Spellbinders Card Creator called “5×7 Heirloom.”

Challenge #149 – Bones with Lacy Sunshine

Good morning crafty crafters,

We have a new challenge posted at the LOC- Left of Center Creative Challenges. This week’s theme is “Bones” and our sponsor is Lacy Sunhine.

For my DT project I have created an Art Journal page:

I have used the digital stamp called “Day of the Dead” (Follow the link to get yours.) I have colored my image with Copic Sketch markers.

For the back ground I used Dylusion paints in the following colors: Funky Fuchsia, White Linen, Crushed Grape, Crushed Grape, and Black Marble. I also used various Dylusion stencils.

The cross was cut from a cricut.Then I added a DOTD sticker from Jolie on top. The stars were cut using glitter paper and a Tim Holtz bigZ die.

The grass was cut using Grape Fusion and a die from Fun Stampers Journey called Border Details Die Set Product # [DI-0147] I also used a white gel pen.

LOC challenge #147 Butterflies

Hello there happy crafters,

I’m here to share with you my DT card that I made for “LOC- Left of Center Creative Challenges.” This week we have 2 sponsors Star Stampz  and All Dressed Up. Our theme this week is  “Butterflies.” We accept all company’s products, images, & stamps. We accept all types of art, 3D, ATC, cards, wood, painting, etc…

I colored my image with Copic markers.

The background was created by first using Pan Pastels on Whip Cream card stock. Then I used the background die called “Floral View.” Product # [DI-0216] I used “Journey Circles Die Set” Product # [DI-0039] for my image.

LOC’s Challenge #145 Altered Images with SLS Lines!

Good morning crafty crafters,

It’s a new week, and a new challenge over at “LOC- Left of Center creative challenges.”

Here is my DT card using the sponsor’s digital image:

I have used the image called “Beautiful Fairy with Mask,” (Follow the link to get yours.)
To Alter my image, I used pop-dots under the row of roses on her head, under her arm, and also popped up her mask. I have also popped up the entire image on the rectangle panel that I use some Pan Pastels on.
I colored this image with Copic Sketch markers. The base card stock is SU, the pattern paper and ribbon is from stash.

LOC’s challenge #143 Bubbles with Ching-Chou Kuik

Good evening Friends,

I’m here to share with you my weekly challenge project for LOC- Left of Center Creative Challenges.

I am a DT for LOC and this week our sponsor is “Ching-Chou Kuik.”

For my DT project I created an art journal page:

I was provided with this digi called “Exotic Ocean Fantasy” (Follow the link to get yours.)

I colored the image with Copics Sketch markers. I used the white Copic paint for the white dots.

For the back ground of the image I combined Dylusions spray inks in “White Linen,”  “Vibrant Turquoise,” and Ranger’s Perfect Pearls Mists in “Mint” on a craft mat then painted it on. Backed the image w/ card stock from stash.

For the back ground of the journal book I sprayed my craft mat with “Vibrant Turquoise,” and Ranger’s Perfect Pearls Mists in “Mint” and with a fan brush I painted it on.

The bubbles were created with a stencil I cut myself and Tsukineko’s Brilliance in “Moonlight White.” Looks like this:

The sentiment is from Dylusions. I stamped it, colored it with Light Yellow by Copics, then cut it out. After I glued it on I went over the letters and the block with a Black Copic.

LOC’s Challenge #141 Quirky/Weird with Bloobel Stamps

Good morning Crafty Friends,

Here is my inspirational Design Team card for you:

I have used the image called “Moustache Ballerina”  (Follow the link to get yours.) By the way, no I did not spell it wrong that is how they have it spelled: Moustache; instead of ‘Mustache.’

I have colored the image with Copics, cut it out with my brother Scan and Cut II, then gave it a black card stock boarder w/ the SNC.

The 2 different mustache stamps on the white cardstock, the flower dies, the oval die with piercing die, and the sentiment are all from “Fun Stampers Journey.”

LOC Challenge #139 Skulls with Limited Runs

Good morning,

Time for a new challenge at Left of Center Creative Challenges AKA LOC. The theme this week is “Skulls” and our sponsor is “Limited Runs.”

Because I am Rebel I did not use an image from this instead I did my own thing and used a coloring page by Dyan Reaveley dylusions. I bought this at Stamp Fest in Lakland June 2016. Dyan Reavely was there doing demos. It was really fantastic.

I did keep with the “Skull” theme:
