Dr. Seth Eidemiller
Emergency Medicine Physician (Healthcare)
His early life on a fourth-generation dairy farm in Idaho shaped Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller’s path to becoming a board-certified emergency physician. Growing up in a farming environment, he learned the importance of hard work, responsibility, and dedication from a young age. The experiences of working on the farm instilled a sense of discipline that he carried with him into his later professional endeavors.
Before turning to medicine, Dr. Eidemiller worked in various fields, gaining a diverse skill set that would prove valuable throughout his career. His time spent with the U.S. Forest Service as a wildland firefighter taught him how to stay calm under pressure, while his experience in construction exposed him to practical skills such as carpentry and electrical work. Additionally, working in restaurants allowed him to interact with people in fast-paced, high-stress environments, further honing his multitasking abilities.

After completing his undergraduate studies, he returned to Boise to take the necessary prerequisites for medical school at Boise State University, where he studied chemistry, biology, and anatomy.
Dr. Eidemiller also worked as a lab instructor and manager, an experience that enhanced his scientific knowledge and teaching skills. His time in biomedical research, focusing on systems biology and human health further sparked his interest in medicine and led him to pursue a career as a physician.
2012, Dr. Eidemiller entered the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. Over the next four years, he rotated through various specialties, including pediatrics, psychiatry, surgery, and general medicine. Throughout his residency, Dr. Eidemiller learned the importance of quick thinking, accurate decision-making, and effective communication—essential skills in an emergency room setting. He treated patients from all walks of life, including those with chronic conditions who lacked consistent access to medical care.
