Hello Penguins!

A new pin was just hidden today! If you’ve never looked for a pin before, try getting some buddies together or join a search group that’s already formed and hunt for the pin. When you find it, pick it up by clicking on it and wear it on your player card. Lots of penguins will probably ask you where you found it, so try to give them a hint without spoiling the surprise! (Its in the forest in a tree) lolz

A new clothing catalog came out today too! It’s packed with gear for the summer so be sure to check it out! I really like the Aviator sunglasses–they’re cool! As always, let us know what you like and even what you think could be better!

In other news: You may have noticed a couple updates to the Community section of the website. A clock set to Penguin Standard Time was added to help you and your friends plan to meet up–at the same time! And starting this week, a different igloo will be featured that shows lots of creativity and imagination. To have your igloo considered all you have to do is decorate it. Let us know what you think of the first featured igloo!

Coins for change update!

Remember the Coins for Change project that took place in December? Many of you jumped in to help make the world a better place by donating your penguin coins. Since then, a lot has happened with money that was given and we wanted you to be able to see where it went.

Hello Penguins!

I promised last week to have more info about all the exciting stuff coming this summer in Club Penguin. There’s a lot to look forward to–new parties, catalogs, missions, games, and more, but the first thing I want to share with you is one of the events you’ve been asking about the most: the Summer Kick Off party!! It’s happening very soon and I don’t want any of you to miss it!

One of the parties we’ve heard you liked a lot was the Water Party from last summer so we thought we’d bring it back… all the best parts will be there and then some!

The party goes from June 13 – 18. I think it’s going to be a great way to kick off summer! And this is just the beginning. There’s plenty more fun stuff planned and I’ll have more sneak peeks about that soon.

Winners announced!
Hello Penguins!

There were some great winning igloos announced in the Club Penguin Times on Thursday (and even more winners than I had originally heard there were going to be!) And the winning stories for the Book Contest were added to the Book Room today!!

Be sure to check them out–the book is called Penguin Tales Spring ’08. All three of the stories are really creative and fun to read. Congratulations to Sammysays,Chochypop, and Lolliepops10 for winning! There were a lot of submissions for this contest, and a lot of good stories to choose from–hopefully in the future we can have more contests!

In other news: Some of you are wondering where the red construction helmet came from that some penguins are wearing. It is a special thank you gift given to penguins who helped with the Server Test in March on the Club Penguin Improvement Project CPIP). It’s only for those who helped with the test. Hello Penguins!

I hope you had a fantastic time at the party over the weekend! I hear there were some amazing igloo parties! The Medieval Party may be finished but things are far from slowing down!

Summer is coming quickly to Club Penguin and we’re getting ready for some really exciting releases that I will be sharing in the coming weeks. Until then, I wanted you to check out the community section on the website. A new wallpaper was added this week so we could all remember the Medieval Party. Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think.

The team is working on a few new additions to the community section. I’ll let you know more about that soon, and we’d love to hear other things you think should be added to that section.

Update: The next Igloo Decorating Contest will start May 23rd! So start saving your coins! You just have to decorate your igloo to enter and winners get 10,000 coins AND their igloo featured in the CP newspaper. Check the newspaper Thursday for details. I’m thinking one of the themes must be Medieval.

Here’s another sneak peek of the upcoming Medieval Party on the 16th. It’s the Pizza Parlor.

The Goblet Pin is in the Coffee Shop. Point your cursor at the light and it will fall down for you to pick up. This pin’s obviously for the upcoming Medieval Party.

The Twelfth Fish play is at The Stage. There is a new playercard background in the Costume Catalog for nonmembers. The Switchbox 3000 is not there because it’ll probably be used for the Medieval Party.

Hey guys! Today the new catalog arrived on Club Penguin! This catalog is pretty cool. The theme is mid evil times. Anyways, there is a total of 5 cheats.

Hey guys! Today there is a bunch of updates on Club Penguin! First of all let’s start out with the new key released to go to Rockhopper’s Quarters!

Where is Rockhopper’s Key?

The key is located at the Book Room, in Rockhopper’s Journal. To get the key simply, flip all the way to the back of the book. Once you have received the key you can automaticly go inside of Rockhopper’s Quarters!

New Rooms Released:

Today there was also two new rooms released! There has been many talk about it last week, but finally it is out! It is located on Rockhopper’s Ship. Though, it is not on the map. This new room is called “Crows Nest.” The Second New Room is “Rockhopper’s Quarters” located in the Migrator.

Here is how to get to The Crows Nest on Rockhopper’s Ship. Simply go to the arrow up above:

Also, with the excitement with the new room there is a new game that came with it! This game is called the “Treasure Hunt Game.” All you have to do is walk to one of 8 sand boxes.

Once you collect the key it automaticaly turns into a pin! The next pin is coming out May 9 so don’t forget to check back here for the next new pin!

Are you guys ready too find Rockhopper? Well, first of all it is difficult but by following these rules down below it will help you find him atleast once! Note: You can only find Rockhopper when him, and his boat “The Migrator” is on Club Penguin.

Tips on How to Find Rockhopper:
First of all if you want to find Rockhopper, it is going to be pretty hard but this step will help you. To test if he is on at all, type in the username: Rockhopper, and the password: online. If it says banned forever he is off line. If it says incorrect password he is online.
If you see a server that is normally empty, but it is full that may be a sign he is on that server. Or if you see penguins shouting “ROCKHOPPER?!?” that probably means he is on the server you are on.
The rooms that you can find Rockhopper in, is the Dock, Beach, The Migrator, Ship Hold, Pizza Parlor, Snow Forts, and the Plaza. He occasionally will go to the Ice Berg so check there if he is not in any of the rooms above.
If a room is full that may be a sign that Rockhopper is in it. If people are shoting “ROCKHOPPER!!” that will probably mean he is definitely in there.
Rockhopper many servers. He doesn’t stay at the same server for a long period of time. He usually jumps to other servers once often. Rockhopper like the lower population servers better.
Rockhopper also likes populated servers, such as Frozen, Mammoth, and Blizzard which are his favorite populated servers to visit.

What does Rockhopper Give You?
Good question. Every now and then he switches his gift. He started out with giving out an eyepatch, but now he is giving out free backgrounds for all players! I am sure in the future he will give new items out in the future.

Can You be Rockhopper’s Friend?
Well, everyone is Rockhopper’s friend, but the only bad thing is that it doesn’t show up on your buddy list I hope in the future Club Penguin will make it that you can have Rockhopper on your buddylist to find him easier.

Is Rockhopper a moderator or a robot?
Moderators will occasionally go on Rockhopper’s account but to tell if it is a moderator or a robot there is two ways. First send him a post card. If he responds back to you with a post card it is a moderator. If Rockhopper is say weird stuff such as “Arr Mateys! The pirates life for me!” It is probably the robot.
