C'est l'amour à la plage....
Un tout petit post, pour une petite pièce réalisée il y a quelques semaines pour la déco d'été :)
Après tout c'est encore l'été !
C'est Beach Lovers de SODA stitch ;)
Je suis définitivement fan de ces petits personnages....
Super moitié m'a terminé la pièce sur une compo en papier et carton
3 grilles SODA attendent encore sur la To do list :D
Donc bientôt surement une autre petite merveille à partager ici.
J'alterne :D
Plus bas vous verrez ce que Super Moitié a aussi réalisé pour la déco d'été.
Des coquillages, un peu de pâte FIMO et hop hop hop des super chouettes crabes :D

It is Beach Lovers from SODA stitch
I'm definitively in love with those cute and funny characters ;)
SuperHalf made the finish for me
Cardboard and paper, a lace and voilà...
I have 3 SODA charts waiting to be stitched so soon another cute piece to share with you here.
Speaking about Super Half and his crafty hands...he made me those 2 super cute crabs.
2 shells found on the beach and some polymer clay :
Aren't they superb ? ;)
And that big one offering his pearl... too lovely

I had a very mice exchange :)
Une fois de plus ça fait longtemps que je ne suis pas passée par ici !
Une vie bien remplie (tant mieux...) et puis je l'avoue trop de temps passé sur l'ordi en journée au boulot alors le soir...pas envie :(
Mais aujourd'hui me voilà pour dévoiler les cadeaux reçus et envoyés, lors d'un échange sur le blog des fans de Margaret Sherry :D
Je devais envoyer un sourire (le thème de l'échange) à Nia au Portugal, et c'est Preeti qui devait m'en envoyer un d'Inde.
Autant le dire, mission accomplie !
Première fois que j'avais une partenaire en Inde et premier échange pour Preeti qui m'a trop gâtée :)
Un très joli livret à épingles (son tout premier), bordé d'un lacet de crochet qu'elle a aussi réalisé.
Les pages sont elles aussi brodées avec tour à tour des perles, des fleurs, des papillons....
Du violet, des souris....Preeti était certaine de faire mouche :D
Ajoutés à cette déjà très chouette pièce, il y avait des tas de cadeaux typiquement indiens et typiquement broderie ;)
Une fois de plus mille mercis à Preeti !
Banane le sourire, banane :D
Et puis il y a ma pièce... pour Nia.
Le bébé de Nia ayant eu un an en début d'année ce dessin s'imposait :D
Super Moitié m'a fait un plateau , bleu forcément, la couleur de Nia et hop hop , le tout est parti au Portugal (2 semaines pour arriver !!!!!) et de ce que j'en sais il a bien fait plaisir :D
Cela faisait bien longtemps que je n'avais pas participé à un échange... j'avais oublié comment c'était agréable ;)
Comme tout le reste ... expérience à renouveler très vite !

One more time, I've been absent here.... 2 months already !
But we having busy weeks and weekends (sounds great) and I must also admit that being on the computer all day long at work, when evening comes I'm fed up with computers :(
I also had a terrible lumbago that lasted 2 weeks and tired me so much....
But here I am today, to show you how I had a (very) "mice exchange" with friends from the Margaret Sherry lovers' blog.
It was called "give a smile exchange" and no doubt that I received a smile and send one :D
Preeti from India was my smile sender. her very first exchange and a real success as I'm really in love with everything she sent me !!!!
Have you seen that superb needlebook she made me ? :D
And this cute handmade doorknob garland...

Purple, Mice.... Preeti made the right choice !
All the pages are embroidered with flowers, butterflies...
There was also in the parcel that only took 4 days to come (mine reached Portugal in 2 weeks !!!!) plenty of goodies either specially for Xstitch or typically Indian.
Have a look, I've been spoilt !!!!!
Everything is so beautiful, sweet, cute, lovely....Preeti, once again thousands of thank you for all those gifts.
I'm blessed and for sure it is a banana smile I have on my face :D
Then my piece for Nia....
Nia's baby is 1 year old now and the design I chose was obvious for her :D
And mice are also my signature :D
Super Half finished it in a tray, a blue one, her colour and voilà....
I totally forgot to take the goodies in picture except the mug :(
But you'll surely soon see a post about that exchange on her blog :D
A great occasion to come back too....
I had forgotten how exchanges are exciting !

Ho flower of Scotland....
Non non, je n'ai pas redisparu de la circulation :)
Nous nous sommes accordé presque 2 semaines de décompression intense....en Écosse :D
La reprise s'est faite sur des chapeaux de roues et me voici seulement aujourd'hui pour vous montrer quelques photos (le choix a été difficile...) de cet endroit magnifique que nous affectionnons tout particulièrement !
Nous étions super bien logés, au milieu de la nature et bien positionnés pour pouvoir rayonner ;)
on en a fait des kilomètres, mais ça valait le coup !
Édimbourg, Le Loch Ness, L'Ile de Skye....
Le pont où est passé le train qui menait Harry Potter à l'école de magie, le château d'Highlander...les pas de William Wallace
Un beau périple :)
En pratiquant le Géocaching nous avons en plus eu la chance de découvrir des endroits où nous
n'étions jamais allés !
Partis en mai plutôt qu'en septembre comme d'habitude, nous avons découvert l’Écosse sous d'autres couleurs, une autre nature...et même avec de la neige :)
Un beau voyage bien dépaysant avec une seule promesse au retour, celle de ne pas attendre 8 ans pour y retourner :D
Au retour nous nous avons fait un petit arrêt à Stratford Upon Avon, la ville natale de Shakespeare :)
Depuis le temps que je voulais y mettre les pieds !
Pas de croix cette fois ci, mes aiguilles ont un peu été en vacances :)
Mais d'ici peu un nouveau post.....

No, I haven't disappeared again :D
We just made a break of about 2 weeks and went to Scotland.
Both Hubby and I are great Scotland lovers, we are fond of Scotland and hadn't been there for 8 years !!!
Too long :)
Usually we go in September, going in May allowed us to see that wonderful country through other colours, another landscape, nature...and even with snow !
We had a terrific lodge , somewhere at the Ben Nevis foot (see in the pictures above) perfectly situated to drive here and there and discover beautiful places.
We play Geocaching and this made us discovering places we had never been before :)
Edinburgh, Loch Ness, Isle if Skye.... we really had a wonderful trip !
We promised ourselves to not wait for 8 years before coming back ;)
Here is the Glenfinnan bridge, that was used in Harry Potter movies :)
The train used at that time is still on. It is a very beautiful one but that was too expensive for us to take it. We wanted to see it on the bridge but hadn't that luck ;)
We just walked in the paces of Rob Roy in the Glencoe and William Wallace in the Borders ;)
On the way back, we made a stop at Stratford Upon Avon , the town where Shakespeare was born ;)
For years I've been wanting to visit it ! it has been a short stop but it is such a lovely town that it worth the few miles more and coming back home later.
And look what we saw there ? 2 perfect shops :)
No cross stitch to share with you this time... it will come with another post soon :)
Just wanted to share with you that little paradise we love. We are not fond of white sand beaches and 40° ... this is really a little paradise to us :)
I wanted to thank you for your kind comments on my SODA pieces in the previous post, I'll answer them soon.

SODA
Pourquoi s'arrêter en si bon chemin ? :D
Un petit 3ème pour le mois de mai, gardons le rythme....
Je suis toujours aussi fan des grilles SODA ! Et l'an dernier j'en ai fait 3.
Il y a d'abord SODA Conte avec Le Petit Chaperon rouge pour Annette.
L'histoire est extraordinaire, puisque, moi qui n'avais jamais mis les pieds aux Pays Bas...j'ai eu la chance d'offrir ce cadeau en mains propres en rencontrant Annette pour son anniversaire :D
Une magnifique journée , comme si cela faisait juste quelques jours que nous ne nous étions pas vues, accueillis comme de la famille....vraiment une superbe journée :D
Ensuite c'était SODA Japon, pour Rita :)
Aussi fan que moi des Kokeshis je n'ai pas pu résister à lui faire cette grille superbe !
Il va falloir qu'elle repasse sous les aiguilles...pour MOI....
Et enfin SODA fée de saison. J'ai choisi le printemps pour Cucki.
Qui connait Cucki sait que cette fée était faite pour elle :)
Les 3 terminées en petit coussin qui va bien, et hop hop hop direction Les Pays Bas, le Portugal et l'Afrique du Sud :)
Je me suis achetée 3 nouvelles grilles SODA lors d'un salon près de la frontière Belge...alors bientôt surement de nouvelles créations.

Can't even believe it myself !! A new post...A 3rd one ! WOW !!

You surely remember (or you will discover) that I'm fan of SODA stitch !
Last year I made 3 , that I finished in little pillows to offer.
The first one was for Annette, in the Netherlands. I made the Little Red Riding Hood :)
She loves this story and the character.
And what a crazy story...
I was about to send her, but her Half send us an invite to her big 3.0 party :D
And we finally decided to go ! I offered her directly, in her hand, after a big hug that almost costed me a tooth :D
What an INCREDIBLE day, awesome as she would say. As if we just met for the the last time some days before, as if it was natural, as if we were family. Incredible souvenir ! You can go and see by yourself :D
Then SODA Japanese girl went to Portugal, to meet Rita :)
Just like me she is a fond of Kokeshis and Japanese dollls, so this chart was evident for her !
I had the perfect fabric to suit in my stash ! It even suits a box I have !!!
And the last one went to South Africa, by Cucki.
Who knows Cucki will surely finds this Spring fairy was perfect for her.
Our sweet friend had a bad accident some times ago, sweetie I sincerely hope you're better now.
Some weeks ago we went to a small craft show dedicated to Xstitch and sewing , near Belgium and I bought 3 new charts to Chibie Stiches I had the chance to meet !
So soon I hope I'll be able to show you new SODA creations ...
There are butterflies in the new collection !!!! I think they will soon be on my to do list !!
Before leaving I'd like to thank you all for your warm welcomes back ;)

Petites pièces offertes...au boulot :)
Bonjour le monde
Merci pour cet accueil réservé à mon 'retour' :D
J'avais promis de revenir vite alors me voilà ... avec quelques croix offertes au travail :D
Je le disais la dernière fois,j'ai la chance d'avoir trouvé des collègues qui apprécient ce que je fais alors j'en ai un peu profité :D
J'ai commencé par un plateau pour le départ en retraite de l'une d'entre elle.
Partant de sa passion pour la nature et la marche j'ai fait un papillon (du fait je me suis éclatée :D) que Super Moitié a transformé en plateau.
Et puis selon les gouts, j'ai fait des petits coussins avec tout à tour chats, escargots, anges ou bord de mer....
Pour la petite Z (la fille de l'une d'entre elles et qui a 4 ans) c'était les escargots :D
Pour A c'était les coccinelles, et pour S un chat roux ;)
Avec du violet comme souhaité:
Puis des anges pour C , qui de temps en temps nous charme les oreilles de sa belle voix lyrique.
Et un peu de bord de mer pour une autre C :
Et puis pour finir une autre S a fêté ses 50 ans en avril et en plus du cadeau que nous lui avons fait, comme elle adore les chevaux je lui ai fait une carte...mais malheureusement j'ai oublié de prendre la carte finie en photo !
Alors juste la broderie :
Nous avons une collègue enceinte, alors qui sait...peut être je vais avoir le temps de préparer un petit quelque chose pour elle aussi....

First I'd like to shout a big THANK YOU to you all who came here last week, commented and sent mails, thank you for a very warm welcome 'back' in the blogosphere.
It really touched my heart.
I promised to come back soon, so here I am, with some stitches I made for my dear colleagues.
I had the chance to find a job last year, after 2 years without anything...and luckily I found new colleagues who like what I do, so no need to say I profited by that opportunity :D
The first piece I made was for a colleague who retired ! Only 4 months after my arrival :(
As she is a great fan of Nature and walks I stitched a butterfly (what a fun for me :D) and Super Half finished it as a tray.
Then according to their tastes, I made cushions with successively cats, ladybugs, snails....
For the daughter of D, 4 years old, I made those cute snails as she loves them very much :)
They are now in her bedroom and she really loves her little cushion :)
I made a cat for S , with purple fabric as she asked and ladybugs for A (not the one from Pretty Little Liars hahaha)
More than being my boss (!! :D) A is a great fan of Ladybugs and needed luck at that time.
My cushion filled her eyes with stars and luck was there too so perfect isn't ?
Then a piece of seaside for C.
She loved it so much that she almost had tears in her eyes. So sweet. I had a real big hug the day I gave her.
And we have another C who is a lyrical singer and who sometimes delights our ears with her beautiful voice. I made her angels singing Hallelujah :)
The last piece I made was the horse above. it was for S (a second one :D) who celebrated her 50's in April. Added to the gift we made her and as she is a fan of horses I made her a card we all signed, but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the finished card !!!
Another one is pregnant
So maybe I'll prepare her a little something...who knows :D

J'avais promis de revenir vite alors me voilà ... avec quelques croix offertes au travail :D
Je le disais la dernière fois,j'ai la chance d'avoir trouvé des collègues qui apprécient ce que je fais alors j'en ai un peu profité :D
J'ai commencé par un plateau pour le départ en retraite de l'une d'entre elle.
Partant de sa passion pour la nature et la marche j'ai fait un papillon (du fait je me suis éclatée :D) que Super Moitié a transformé en plateau.
Et puis selon les gouts, j'ai fait des petits coussins avec tout à tour chats, escargots, anges ou bord de mer....
Pour la petite Z (la fille de l'une d'entre elles et qui a 4 ans) c'était les escargots :D
Pour A c'était les coccinelles, et pour S un chat roux ;)
Avec du violet comme souhaité:
Puis des anges pour C , qui de temps en temps nous charme les oreilles de sa belle voix lyrique.
Et un peu de bord de mer pour une autre C :
Et puis pour finir une autre S a fêté ses 50 ans en avril et en plus du cadeau que nous lui avons fait, comme elle adore les chevaux je lui ai fait une carte...mais malheureusement j'ai oublié de prendre la carte finie en photo !
Alors juste la broderie :
Nous avons une collègue enceinte, alors qui sait...peut être je vais avoir le temps de préparer un petit quelque chose pour elle aussi....

First I'd like to shout a big THANK YOU to you all who came here last week, commented and sent mails, thank you for a very warm welcome 'back' in the blogosphere.
It really touched my heart.
I promised to come back soon, so here I am, with some stitches I made for my dear colleagues.
I had the chance to find a job last year, after 2 years without anything...and luckily I found new colleagues who like what I do, so no need to say I profited by that opportunity :D
The first piece I made was for a colleague who retired ! Only 4 months after my arrival :(
As she is a great fan of Nature and walks I stitched a butterfly (what a fun for me :D) and Super Half finished it as a tray.
Then according to their tastes, I made cushions with successively cats, ladybugs, snails....
For the daughter of D, 4 years old, I made those cute snails as she loves them very much :)
They are now in her bedroom and she really loves her little cushion :)
I made a cat for S , with purple fabric as she asked and ladybugs for A (not the one from Pretty Little Liars hahaha)
More than being my boss (!! :D) A is a great fan of Ladybugs and needed luck at that time.
My cushion filled her eyes with stars and luck was there too so perfect isn't ?
Then a piece of seaside for C.
She loved it so much that she almost had tears in her eyes. So sweet. I had a real big hug the day I gave her.
