It has been a very long time since I created anything for Rainmeter. I do not know if I should even pick it up again since I am back in college now. Who knows… 

Well I have a lot of unfinished projects that have built up over time and I have decided to at least let people know what the status of the projects are as of right now.

First that chrome theme I started making a long, and I mean long, time ago has not changed. The theme is another Sayori theme. I am not sure if I will work on this one or not.

The skin creator program I was developing has failed. Mainly because the language I was using to program it in really limits what I can do with it. So for now that project has been trashed. Although since I am learning how to program Excel macros for work, it might come in handy for making Rainmeters. I just now thought of some ideas that might work if I use Excel but that is just an idea and I will have to look into it later.

The Winamp skin I was working on is having issues with colors and lining up the visual elements. I have not really worked on it lately since I got really annoyed when it was messing up at one point.

That new Rainmeter design will be worked on this weekend since I have free time. I have already added more buttons and I am working on what type of picture the buttons would look good with.

I do not think I left out any projects that I have talked about and not finished. Oh wait the Christmas skins are long dead, I got rid of the skin rough drafts of all of those so they will never be done. Unless requested…

Anyway besides having a backlog of projects that need to be finished I also have a ton of pictures that I really want to make into Rainmeters… Which does not help my workload lol. I hope to get at least one skin design out this weekend. I really hope nothing prevents me from doing it.

I am finally finishing those themes today I am almost completely done with the Christmas one and I think I like the new images for this one. Here is a screen shot with my dual screen on to get multiple sizes and such.

I am checking to make sure all the colors are right on all the windows. Should be releasing this one soon 🙂

I decided to make an IA theme with a picture that I really like of her. I am not sure about the design so I might post it on Randomness later I am not sure though it has a different look to it compared to other skins.

I am working on a application that will make it easier to make skins based off a template skin. I hope to allow users to preview what the skin will look like while they edit the data. At the very least I want to have buttons that add elements to the skin with a button which would prompt the user to enter data into the text boxes and that would edit the skin code directly. I will make it create a file with the given name as well as the .ini file for the skin. This project will take a long time and it will not be easy but I think it will be fun and really cool if I get it working. I have only tested it by copying one skin file and making a new skin with whatever name you enter. It doesn’t really do much now. I am also trying to figure out what language would be the best to make this in right now it is a C# GUI application but I debated on using a C++ program. That would eliminate the GUI part which I like so I am not sure. I will keep randomly posting information about this as I slowly make progress in my free time that I am not working on my build up partially finished skins. Random lol
