Former Fox News Host, Megyn Kelly, spoke on her podcast about the fact that Jeffrey Epstein may not have been a “pedophile”, because it is not proven that he abused children “under 10”. She claims that he mostly liked “15-year-old girls”.
The 14-yeard-old girl in this video has an answer to that. She does an excellent job describing herself and her 15-year-old friends, whom it appears Megyn Kelly thinks it is okay for adult men to use for sex?
It is very creepy to believe that adult men should sexually abuse 15-year-old girls, and that that makes it okay. In addition, Megyn Kelly’s comments are a dark and manipulative way to change the conversation from reality to something she may believe some people can accept. In fact, Jeffrey Epstein definitely recruited, abused, and trafficked girls as young as 14-years-old. Megyn Kelly tries to gloss that over with the half-truth that Jeffrey Epstein mostly liked 15-year-old girls. All of the victims must be acknowledged. And, all of the men who abused them need to be revealed.
In the video above, a 14-year-old girls shares her profound disgust with Megyn Kelly’s thinking and assertions that it is okay for adult men to have sex with teenagers.

My friends and I wanted to provide authentic and progressive alternatives to “politics as usual” in our town of Riverhead, Long Island, NY.
We were frustrated that the local Democratic Party put no one on two of the ballot lines, thus leaving the only option for voters as the Republican incumbents.
We were so excited to petition for our friend, neighbor, and experienced tradesperson Jessica Werner to be on the ballot under the “Options for Riverhead” line as a candidate for Superintendent of Highway. Though, through a series of setbacks and political attacks, Jessica Werner was not able to file her petitions and officially attempt to gain ballot access.
So, we are supporting Jessica by writing her in, anyway!!!!!

(Don’t worry, there are many upcoming mega-city rallies, and so much to do this and every weekend to show you care for democracy!)

Important RCSD School Board Meeting: (Organizational Meeting. Possibility for an appointment.)

It appears that at tomorrow’s school board meeting, the board could possibly appoint a new board member to fill the one, current vacancy.
In addition, it could possibly happen???, that the member who is in a controversial situation in his personal life, could possibly resign. Would the board accept his resignation and appoint TWO MEMBERS tomorrow???
Local citizens want the school board to either hold an election for the current vacancies, or at least do a process to appoint people where there is some process and transparency to the appointment process.
Are you interested in running for this position? It is an unpaid, volunteer position. Though, you could make a big difference in the lives of so many children.
If you would consider it, and if you are registered to vote in the Riverhead school district boundaries (or, could be), please come to the meeting. If the appointment does happen, there should be a chance to speak at the “Public Comments on Agenda Items” portion at the beginning of the meeting. Please come speak at the microphone. Volunteer yourself and/or nominate a friend. Let the school board at least consider some grassroots members of our community to get a voice on the school board.

June 6: General Strike Some people have proposed that in response to the orange administration, the Constitutional Crisis, and the current level of fascism, people call in sick or just do not go to work June 6th to June 10th. It is a form of noncompliance. Do not be part of the war machine and the machinations of fascism.
Friday, June 6th for Long Island, NY: You can relax with great music and like minds. And, maybe discuss the General Strike and your protest plans, at PeaceSmiths Coffeehouse. June 6, 2025 at 8pm in Amityville.

There are so many ongoing protests. In Sag Harbor, on Sundays, people are marching for peace in Gaza. On Saturdays, there are two Long Island peace groups support vigils for peace. No Kings and Tesla take-downs, and visibility protests happen often. Find your network. Search your social media. Find a place to stand up for peace, justice, and democracy. Find out how to speak up against genocide and fascism.
Newark Mayor and poet Ras Baraka has been trying to either “make safe” or stop from operating in his town, the Delaney Hall ICE immigration center. Delaney Hall is run for ICE by a private contractor. Mayor Baraka is trying to ensure that Delaney Hall has a proper certificate of occupancy and meets fire codes.
On Friday, May 9, 2025, ICE and the Department of Homeland Security arrested Mayor Ras Baraka and roughed up some of the three congresspeople who were also there to do oversight of the detention center. The act of arresting an elected official is another escalation in the Trump administration’s war on the Constitution. We should be very worried. And, we should help Mayor Baraka overcome the charges against him. Baraka is innocent and ICE should not be interfering and arresting local officials.
This story has especially captured my attention, because, not only is Ras Baraka a poet, he is also the son of Amiri Baraka aka LeRoi Jones. So, I feel it is the duty of poets to stand up for their colleague, and for a poetry dynasty.
My slogan, which I hope to bring on a sign to Newark is: “Poets for Justice. Poets for Baraka. Poets will tell this tale.” You should not mess with poets. We will make people understand, and we will sing our song loud and proud.
Ras Baraka will have his day in court on Thursday morning, May 15th. There will be a gathering of supporters that day at 9:30am at the courthouse. Poets should attend! (And/or bring some poetry to read about freedom and fascism and human dignity.)
Habeas Corpus translates to “you shall have the body”. It means that before the government imprisons you, they have to bring your body before a judge.
The Trump administration threatening to take away the right to “Habeas Corpus” is like a human trafficker wanting to peel back rules that make it less wrong to deal in human flesh.
Our government is currently trying to make it easier to trade your body for favors with overseas dictators.
Trump is gonna put your ass in Rwanda: And, he doesn’t want to get in too much trouble for it.

Jessica Werner is running for the position of Superintendent of Highways in the Town of Riverhead.
A group of friends and neighbors noticed that there was only going to be one candidate on the November 2025 ballot for some positions in the Town of Riverhead. Since the group had a fierce sense of duty to offer voters a choice, they decided to try to field at least one candidate to represent the need for voters to have genuine options on the ballot.
Options for Riverhead is the ballot line that those neighbors decided on. And, Jessica Werner became their proposed candidate for “Town Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Riverhead.” It was amazing to notice that the highway position was one of the open ballot lines, and that their friend and colleague Jessica Werner is a plumber who has the infrastructure wisdom to be of great service in this position. Truly a match made in grassroots democratic heaven.
It would be a great help if you could sign this petition (have a friend who is also a Riverhead resident witness your signature) and mail it back to the campaign.
