[Q&A] Michael Robinson (Black Star)

[7:26 PM]Rutibex: Hello I am Michal Robinson creator of the Black Star OSR setting! https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/547803/black-star Black Star — A Sourcebook for the Wizard-God Kings of Maxxia Under the eternal darkness of a collapsed sun lies the inner surface of Maxxia: a Dyson sphere once engineered as the Emperor’s private garden. When the Planar Imperium fell, its machines faltered, its caretakers died, and control passed to those ruthless and brilliant enough to seize the scraps of god-technology left behind. Now the Black Star Lands are ruled by ten Wizard-God Kings—living anomalies who blend sorcery, ideology, and ancient Imperium subsystems into oppressive new civilizations. Their empires are not nations but malfunctioning departments of a dead god-machine, each clinging to survival through cruelty, propaganda, or delusion. Black Star is a OSR, lore-heavy sourcebook designed to give GMs and worldbuilders everything they need to run campaigns in this shattered realm of post-imperial science fantasy.

[Q&A] Michael Robinson (Power Scale)

[8:14 PM]Rutibex: I am Michael Robinson author of the superhero TTRPG Powerscale https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/546113/power-scale

[8:14 PM]Rutibex: Power Scale TTRPG — Core Rulebook From street vigilantes to galaxy-breakers… on one table. Power Scale is a cinematic d20 toolkit that lets you run every flavor of over-the-top heroics — street-level supers, shōnen anime, mecha duels, magical transformations, even cosmic deities — without changing systems every time your party levels up. Built to be D20-friendly and easy to grok, it keeps the familiar roll of d20 + ability + proficiency vs. DC, then layers on a single, elegant Magnitude Rank (MR) table that covers range, mass, time, and speed from hand reach to galactic scale. At level 1, your hero can lift a car and outrun gunfire. At level 20, they can throw stars.

[8:17 PM]Free Gamer: @Dan (Hardboiled GMshoe) had to brb. He’ll be back shortly.

[7:40 PM]Travis Fauber: I’m @Travis Fauber. I reside in West Virginia with my wife, Mariah, our daughter, and our two cats, Dr. House and Happy. I have a love for fantasy and gaming that started when I was in third grade, when I first got to peek through a friend’s copy of Moldvay’s Basic D&D rulebook. My work can be found between the DM’s Guild and DrivethruRPG. I have earned a few Copper and Silver bestselling awards. It was even published in Mad Scribe Magazine. My latest accomplishment is why we are having the Q&A tonight. I just finished a successful Kickstarter for my latest project, Full Metal Tilt, a Jousting Supplement for any system, yet it is geared towards Dragonslayer and other OSR systems. I even threw in two expanded versions of my first-place Dragonslayer Dungeon Design Adventures as well. (Done)

[7:35 PM]Team SNG: Saturday Night Gaming is a collective of storytellers, designers, and tabletop roleplaying fans who believe great worlds are built at the table. From seasoned veterans to first-time adventurers, our cast brings together a diverse group united by a shared love of tabletop RPGs, comic book storytelling, and collaborative creation. Since 2017, we’ve been telling interconnected stories across our homebrewed multiverse, Heavenscape, where every choice leaves a mark and every roll of the dice pushes the story forward.
