Ketika update paket Linux Mint bermasalah
Udah lama gak nengokin si Acer Travelmate 6292 yang pake Linux Mint. Mau update paket program ah.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade
Tiba-tiba mendapat pesan error:
W: There is no public key available for the following key IDs:

W: Failed to fetch http://dl.google.com/linux/webdesigner/deb/dists/stable/Release Unable to find expected entry ‘main/binary-i386/Packages’ in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or maformed file)E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Wah Google kenapa nih? Sepertinya pernah juga deh kejadian kayak gini. Setelah googling, ada yang membahas di Forum Linux Mint. Di situ dijelaskan solusinya:
sudo apt-key adv –keyserver keys.gnupg.net –recv-keys 1397BC53640DB551
atau
wget -qO- https://dl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add –
Coba cara yang pertama, masih dapat pesan cinta:
W: Failed to fetch http://dl.google.com/linux/webdesigner/deb/dists/stable/Release Unable to find expected entry ‘main/binary-i386/Packages’ in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or maformed file)
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Coba tambah cara kedua, sama juga.
Hmmm… coba cek sources.list untuk google webdesigner deh. Cara pertama dengan text editor. Pake Nano deh biar cepat:
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-webdesigner.list
Edit baris ini:
deb http://dl.google.com/linux/webdesigner/deb/ stable main
Sisipkan [arch=amd64], jadi begini:
deb [arch=amd64] http://dl.google.com/linux/webdesigner/deb/ stable main
Cara kedua dengan one liner (lebih cepat sih):
sudo sed -i -e ‘s/deb http/deb [arch=amd64] http/’ “/etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-webdesigner.list”
Coba update lagi:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade
Hore, berhasil. Alhamdulillaah.
Oh iya hampir lupa, agar isi file di atas tidak berubah, lakukan ini:
sudo sed -i -e ‘s/deb http/deb [arch=amd64] http/’ “/opt/google/webdesigner/cron/google-webdesigner”
