foraging
Posted: June 7, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a commentI guess foraged foods are worth mentioning here, too.
We’ve had salads this week containing wood sorrel (leaves), lamb’s quarters (leaves) and garlic mustard (flowers) – some from weeding around our own place and the local community garden, and some from the wilder (& now unsprayed for several years) parts of campus.
BioK Probiotic
Posted: June 3, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a commentLoblaws on Bath Road and John A. has BioK capsules on a 50% reduction right now. Reg. 39.99. Great deal for a great probiotic and the boxes aren’t expired – in fact they have great dating. Loblaws just isn’t carrying the capsules anymore since no one buys them (probably because they’re so expensive – albeit well worth the cost).
