BIM(Building Information Modeling)

BIM stands for both Building Information Modeling. The Building Information Model (BIM) is a set of information generated and maintained throughout the life cycle of a building. BIM is the process of generating and managing a building information model. The term was coined by Autodesk  to describe “3D, object-oriented, AEC-specific CAD”.

Autodesk Revit Architecture is one of the most outstanding BIM softwares.

Here’s my design for the AIA(American Institute of Architects) beltline station design competition, It was designed and rendered using Revit 2008.

Sustainable Design

Sustainable architecture, also known as “Green building” (or “green architecture”), is a general term that describes environmentally-conscious design techniques in the field of architecture. Sustainable architecture is framed by the larger discussion of sustainability and the pressing economic and political issues of our world. In the broad context, sustainable architecture seeks to minimize the negative environmental impact of buildings by enhancing efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy, and development space.
