Doodling of mind is simple expression of my instinct thoughts. My work block inclined to thought based process/ submerging artist influence to groom up my thoughts ; from dot to circle ; simple and clean approach . I am fascinated by various crafts around India. Attaching line from upcycling to craft can create new upcraft piece.
My first visit to Barmer field , opened my eyes far wide and my movement got slower ; looking through bird's eye view ; all neutral like color of oatmeal but no green field for local people's meal.
I was flabbergast by the way the village people have developed their deserted area and their living style which been hand made by them for their economic conveyance, their deserted farm for which they kill time for rain to come. Their language has essence of deserted region they belong and connected to the way they dressed up.
Their children's are full of curiosity but they didn’t get opportunity to go to school get environment to grow up their mind.
Then I saw their traditional figurative applique craft seems like influenced by Egyptians done by every local women of bhil community who migrated from Pakistan.

Applique of Rajas-than is done like the base fabric is medium weighted and primarily white in colour. Patchwork motifs of various sizes, shapes and co-lours are arranged in a manner that produces captivating patterns.
In terms of textile if I say it is a surface technique process to tell a story with base canvas and it is narrated through different coloured fabrics . As each detailing is done by hand , it is more interesting and work involved.
So what I expected second time visit after rains, it is other way unexpected , and so to call out for the word unexpectation is easy but to call out for expectation is more easy.
Daily language story
Place where Barmer festival is celebrated
