Fabric: elastic bookmark

My mom asked me what can she do with wide sized elastic tape and I had search up and down for creative usage beside making it a elastic waist skirt, and I found this quite useful!

What you need are:

Fabric, elastic tape, sewing machine

With this elastic bookmark, I have no more worried my bookmark slipping out when I throw my book in a bag, no need to make dog ears to mark the spot~

B-line has shared with us a tutorial on the making of felt bowl and I think it will be pretty good organiser for your desk or even as toy basket~

What you need are:
Good color combination of felt cloths
Ruler
Scissors
Maker/pen
Sewing machine
Pins

Personally from my experience, if you want to make a small version for tiny things like earrings, you can always sew it rather than machine it~ anyway, happy trying~

Plastic: Waterproof Fabric Shower Cap

Is not easy to find a shower cap design that you like, but now this problem has resolved. Following the instructions created by Maggie, you can easily make one for yourself or as special gift for your love ones.

The tools and materials you need are:

• 2/3 yard of your favorite cotton fabric
• 2/3 yard of Iron-On Vinyl
• 1 package extra-wide bias tape
• 18-20 inches of 1/4 inch wide elastic
• coordinating thread
• sewing machine
• rotary cutter and mat
• pen, pencil, string and dowel
• safety pins

Fabric: Upcycle Bookmark

For people who loves sewing for sure they will have a lot of left over fabric, what you should do with them? Make patchwork blanket?

• 1 piece of cotton fabric (2.5"x9")

• 1 piece of felt (2.5"x9")

Felt: Fishing Hole

Fishing Hole Tutorial is posted at Holy craft. Although this tutorial needs some higher lever skills to make it happen, but it is a very good toy for the kids to train their motor skills.

What you need are:

Dowels, craft felts in assorted colors, hooks, eyelets, acrylic paint in assorted colors, cotton string (for fishing line), neodymium magnets, batting for added thickness of fish, grosgrain ribbon to tie up roll, black Embroidery thread for stitching faces, and elastic.
