so yeah i’ve not been posting for a while now, basically been really busy bought a toyota and have been away most weekends so never bothered to update this.

Got my mot all sorted out so changed out the crappy old brakes for some vented gti ones with the bigger calipers. Much better, cheers pad for helping.

just gotta order the outers for my wheels now!

The other day me and jim decided it was a good idea to drive to cambridge to go to the Type2Detectives Chilli night at their workshop, check out some cool projects they have going on and look at slammed aircooleds.

I love their bus, wish my car was that dirty haha.

Its gonna scream yeah, hopefully get it fired up this weekend and begin work on a spare head for the 300 and something degree cam!

Ok so sorry ive been dead recently but i had been madly trying to get my shit together to get the car running so i could drive to worthersee last week.

As a result we had to change my engine and get it running on my freshly rebuilt 40s. Argghh. All in and working great for the trip but its pretty much dead now (it revved like a demon and i killed the rings in a matter of weeks 😦 shame really).

Anyhow heres a few pics of the carbs and the spray bombed motor, more pics and story of my foreign adventure soon and ill try and get my ass in to gear and update.

I also figured it was time to clean up my hectic mess i called wiring. Much better now.
