putting the faith back

Tonight, I discover the importance of “clearing the air” — of being true and honest with a friend about my feelings. And we both realized that it is by this exercise that we were able to avoid a big misunderstanding.

And it also by this that I have put my faith back in our friendship.

Today, I open my heart to the clear blue skies, to the sun shining brightly, to the cool air of late autumn.

It has been a day marked with lively conversations at the lunch table, a half hour browsing the Sunday paper, and creating a whole new blog inspired by the word “heart.”
