My friend Wendy and I went out and took pictures today…we borrowed a couple of really cool girls (Kayla and Baily) to take pictures of.  We’re both trying to improve our hobby, and these 2 love to take pictures.  I had a blast, even when I slipped in mud and busted my butt. LOL.  Just thought I would share a couple…

Hopefully the more I blog, the more creative my titles will be.  Hopefully the creavtive juices will start flowing again…well for those of you who live here in GA, you know its been COLD!  and of course its Jan which mean Heather gets sick without fail.  I’m just glad its not as bad as its been the past 2 years.  Its suppose to warm up today to about 66. Yay!  Tanner and I have a date today.  We’re going to see The Princess and the Frog, and of course we’re making a stop at Starbucks…strawberry fraps here we come.  This month has already turned out to be busy. With extra projects at work, trying to get everything in order to turn Tanner’s application in to CT Walker (fingers crossed), and looking at houses….busy, just doesn’t seem to cover it.  I told Scott our new year officially starts on Feb 1 because we have yet to figure out what we want to acheive this year. LOL. Well my few minutes its up, Tanner is calling for breakfast and I have to get laundry started if we want to go anywhere. Here’s to a happy, warm, Saturday with no rain…

Wow!!  It’s been almost 7 months since I last posted, my poor, neglected blog.  Things have been busy here, and I’ve kind of let my blog suffer.  BUT one of my 2010 goals is to start blogging again.  So my blog has a mini face lift, and this is my first official post of 2010.  NOW if I can keep it up.  Right now I’m shooting for once a week, maybe more.  Its late and I need to go to bed we have a busy day tomorrow…well today.  Its Scott’s birthday.  So for now, here is a picture of Tanner, my funny boy.  He is growing too fast.

I’ve been really busy lately.  I’ve been taking pictures for my friends like crazy.  I’ve been trying to decide if I want to charge a fee for it or just let them pay for the prints.  I love taking pictures, it makes me feel good that people want me to take pictures for them.  Here are some that I’ve taken recently…

To the best dad and grandpa anyone could ask for.  And while I know I don’t say often enough I love you very much!  I wish we could have been there today, I hope you enjoyed your day!

So where to begin, its been so long since I updated I dont even know where to begin.  Lets see last month, I got hired to take pictures for a wedding,  and got paid for it. That was fun, a bit nerve racking but fun. I took over 900 pictures, lets just say my camera and my dad’s camera got a lot of use.  Then of course there was Easter.  Tanner had an Easter egg hunt with his friends Holly and Haydn.  They had a blast, and of course right then my camera decides to quit working…this was acutally the week before the wedding so I began to panic. Turned out to be something wrong with my lens.  My dad is a life saver, he let me use one of his lens, and his camera.  Then to top it off  he gave me one of his lens so I could take more pictures.  Like I said life saver. …

What next?  I had a doctor’s appt with my OBGYN in May…turns out I have something called PCOS.  Explains a lot of things going on with me. My doctor was suprised that I wasn’t diagnosed sooner.  Which made me wonder the same thing. She said that I’ve probably had it awhile.  So now that its diagnosed, and being treated there isn’t anything to worry about.  Shoot, I’ve even been loosing weight. I havent been able to do that in a long time.  The only down side…I have to take more medicine.  And now I have awful periods. My doctor swears it will get better now that I will have one every month.

Tanner’s last day of school was May 22.  He got his promotion certificate, so now he’ll be in Pre-K next year.  He also received an award for having  the best imagination.  He was so excited about that.  Kept saying  I have the best ‘magination.  This kid makes up the greatest stories, talks about leperchauns, and dreams he has.  He is very detailed in his describtions. Maybe he’ll be a writer when he grows up.  This summer we are working on his writing and counting to 100.  My friend also gave me her kids “sight words” so he can work on them ( a list of words that they are suppose to be able recognize by sight.  They are suppose to be able to do so many in a certain amount of time).

Lets see what else has been going on.  With work, Scott and I havent had too much alone time, he won tickets to a Skillet concert in Greenville, and it was AWESOME!!!!!  Its been forever since we’ve been to a concert…Ozzfest 2003 I think.  We had a blast.  It was nice to get away kid free for little while.  Next Friday we’re going to Atlanta to see Paramore and No Doubt.  I am so excited about that.  We also got to visit my parents for 3 days. That was nice.   They always drive down here.  We havent been to NC since last summer, I think. 

Okay…so there it  is  a long update.  Not too much going on.  Even when I dont update for almost 2 months, I can sum everything up in less than 600 words, pretty pathetic huh.  Well I will leave you with some picture from the past couple months of my extememly cute kid.

Wow its beein almost 2 months since I last updated.  I wonder if anyone even checks anymore.  Well we’re on vacation in NC with my parents, we got here last night around 11pm.  SO I have 4 days to catch up on everything going on in my life.  SO this is just a short entry to begin the longer ones.  But right now I’m off to the mall….the one here is so much better!!

I know its been forever since I blogged….wow almost  a month.  Yikes (sorry mom and dad).  Things here have just been really busy.   I know excuses, excuses.  So here’s been my month bullet style…

• I got promoted at work, it keeps me very busy.  I’m working longer hours, but I love the new position.  By the time I get home I really dont thing much about the computer.
• Trying to keep up with a 4 year little boy who is having moods swings….he loves us one minute, and he “Thinks we’re just being mean” the next
• School picture disasters…my child looked like a pimp…I wasn’t the only one who didnt like them. Retakes are next week
• Easter egg hunts
• Kickball….yes I mean I played kickball.  I am too old to play (even though my team won)  my knee still hurts
• Birthday parties and ice skating ( not me)
• I tried sushi for the first time yesterday…not bad
• Found that having an adult night with out kids, just ends in very tired adults without kids
• Took engagment picutures for a friends daughter at work
• Got hired to take pictures of the same friend’s daughter wedding

Scott is off for the semester from school. He has been playing golf a lot lately.  He’s excited about the Masters.  I’m glad he’s found a hobby.  Tanner is a mess.  He’s been lying lately.  Nothing big, but I’m not sure how to break it from it.  Its  been stuff  like “Tanner did grandma tell you to pick up your toys?”  No…, we’ve been telling its wrong to tell a lie. Time out.  any advise?  He’s also been into guilt trips.  When he gets in trouble and he goes to time out, he likes to tell me ” Mommy, you’re hurting my heart”  and for a minute it makes me feel bad. (I think I have a drama major on my hands). 

And basically thats it. My life has become routine, and uninteresting.  So I’ll share some pictures from the last month….
