What a FANTASTIC afternoon. I just got off the runway for the Mr. Virtual World 2015 – Swimwear Challenge. The men were HAWT !!! and we ALL had a great time. a few lag moments but other than that it went off without a hitch. For my presentation I had a hard tome finding any “current” swimwear that I liked so I made my own. I styled after the 2015 Versace Summer show and was pleased with the results… here’s YOUR peek at what I styled.

What an amazing weekend this has been. I just finished with my Personal Interview for Mr. Virtual World 2015 and I loved it. Not anything like I expected but kept it real and had a great time. We laughed, we cried… and learned a lot. Here is what I wore…

Mr Virtual World 2015 – Photo Challenge #2 – Marketing (Charity Campaign)

BACKGROUND STORY:

I have worked with the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund – UNICEF for several years. I choose this charity for my campaign in Mr. Virtual World as there is no greater work than that which we invest into the lives of children.

Working as the Director of Outreach Ministries for my church while living in Atlanta, Georgia led me to two years of missionary work with UNICEF after receiving a nomination and appointment from Carol Bellamy – UNICEF Executive Director. During that time I was able to travel throughout the world working with UNICEF to provide help in impoverished communities. This was not only in third world countries but also in many communities throughout my own country – the United States. People often ask me why I chose this work. They focus on it being a full time non-paid position and ask me why I would spend my own savings to do this work. I always respond by enlightening others on the daily struggles children face and explain that over 20,000 children under the age of four die each day from the lack of basic needs and disease. I would also encourage them to become involved by asking them; “What would you do if there was a child in front of you crying in pain from hunger, near death from sickness, and what if all you had to do was reach into your pocket and pull out fifty cents to save that child’s life? Emergency care, nutrition, vaccines, and anti-malaria bed nets are delivered every day to the children that could die without them — That’s what your fifty cents a day buys. That’s what I believe every child deserves.

After experiencing the heartbreak of an African child die in my arms who had been abandoned I embraced the mantra “Where you live should not determine whether you live”.  I have worked with UNICEF for many years and will continue to work with UNICEF throughout my life.

I just completed my 1st Runway Challenge walk for Mr. Virtual World 2015 and had an amazing time. The theme that was assigned to us for today’s show was ‘Animal / Avant Garde’. I selected ‘Bird of Prey’. Here are a mix of pictures of my styling. Some people sent me just after all of the men completed the challenge today. Thank you all so much for your continued love and support everyone. I hope I am making you proud. I wish to acknowledge the AMAZING men who are competing thi…s year… every one of you were amazing today and I am so proud of each of you. SPECIAL THANKS to Silvano Korobase for style checking me, and to Falina who gifted me the ring and necklace on my back that you see me wearing here. Thank you Averil Resident for sending me some of these wonderful pictures and a HUGE thanks to Reign Congrejo, Crazyboy Jee, DiamondGem Destiny, Erik Bayn, and the entire MVW organization and BOSL for all you do to make SL a better place… ❤ each of you.

It was exhausting preparing for this challenge, but in the end I was very happy with my choices. My Father used to always say “Son, anything worth doing is worth doing well”. Today just as I was about to walk out… as Erik Bayn gave me my cue to go out I felt my father with me… it was a calm that just washed over me. Everything went perfect without a hitch. Afterwards IM’s poured in and I did not get to respond to all of them… but I did read many of them and thank you all for your kind words and support. Old friends, new friends… and even some who I was at odds with. MVW has helped heal some lost friendships and for that I feel so blessed. WHEW… time to sleep. 😀

Being a part of Mister Virtual World 2015 is such an amazing experience. The men competing this year have been so kind. I decided yesterday to make something special for the men who are Official Candidates and this is what I created… (only the official candidates will get this).
