I’ve been singing this song today – “Until Then” by Carl Stuart Hamblin (otherwise known as Cowboy Joe – https://dianaleaghmatthews.com/behind-the-song-until-then/). I have felt so dull and distant and strange for about a week – spiritually and emotionally. Don’t know if you’re feeling a bit like that. Maybe not. Hope not. But, as I spoke with the Lord last night I was reminded that often what I’m feeling is all about praying for others. So, I began to pray for other Christians feeling the same way, and prayed they’d stop just pushing through with normal things, thinking feeling will subside, but instead would sit still before the Lord, to just be with Him – like Mary sitting at His feet as opposed to Martha who keeps working.
But, after praying that last night this morning I felt no better. Something still wasn’t right…
Then the words to this song struck me – “My heart can sing when I pause to rememberA heartache here is but a stepping stoneAlong a trail that’s winding always upward,This troubled world is not my final home”. This began to play through my mind, its refreshing breeze blowing over my being. When I pause, when I pause, when I PAUSE, then my heart can sing ….
“My heart can sing when I pause”…. And then, I began to sing it aloud. And my heart did sing. And the burden lifted.
“Until then my heart will go in singing. Until then with joy I’ll carry on. Until the day when I behold the city. Until the day God calls me home.”
So, if you have been burdened at all, I encourage you to “pause” in God’s presence and to sing in your heart and with your vocal chords, even the words of this poignant song. And…let the Lord love you. Let Him anoint your head with oil until your cup overflows (Psalm 23).
And let yourself cry. Oh what a good, healing cry I’ve had today as I paused to remember and to sing.
Now I know this beauty is not just for me, but is so that I can also minister to other Christians – to speak to one another in songs, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5). So, let this begin with me. Let this begin with you. And may we after pausing and singing and crying (and yes,guys need to cry and not just girls – David cried. Jeremiah cried. Paul cried. Jesus cried) and letting Jesus love us with His fathomless love, reach out to other Christians in need of the same.
I’ve been noticing something. Christians are preoccupied with many cares of this life right now: selling their homes, fixing up their property, new jobs, hopes for advancement and raises, college, retirement, vacations, kids and grandkids, pets, sports, financial problems and debt, relational angst, physical maladies and emergencies and surgeries, and on and on and on…And yes, Jesus said that in this world we will have tribulation, but He also said He has given us His peace, and that we were not to be focused on these things. Meanwhile, the world stage is being set for the establishment of a new world order – from violent Iranian protests, to the strange Russian and Ukrainian conflict, to Venezuela’s president being deposed by a foreign government, to threats to do to the same to Colombia, to serious talk of foreign “boots on the ground” in Mexico, to threats to usurp Greenland which as a nation has been given orders to defend herself at all costs, to talk of a long predicted Technate, to intensified worldwide Christian persecution, and elevated spiritual warfare. As exemplified in both the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2024 Olympics and in the 2026 New Years ceremonies in nation after nation – the one world religion is rising out of the earth, the one world order government is rising out of a tumultuous sea and is by talk of peace destroying many even via war and threats of war. Indeed, the Revelation horses appear to be enroute, great deception is everywhere, and the pieces are falling into place one domino at a time. (There are sources below regarding these things).
Just as we are not to be focused on the cares and pleasures of this life, we too are not to be focused on nor be worried about the craziness happening throughout the world. This is why Jesus said in Luke 21, “28Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”29Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. 34“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.””
Jesus right now, smack dab in the center of this time in the history of the world, does not want us heavily burdened with severe headaches of this life that command all our attention and drown out discernment or cause us to become unloving in word and deed and unforgiveness toward our brothers and sisters in Christ (Matthew 24:45-51; Luke 12:35-48; Philippians 4), nor to become intoxicated mentally to the point of seeking fun and pleasure and entertainment and good times that wind up dulling our senses to truth (Luke 12:16-21; Isaiah 22:13; 2 Timothy 3:4; 1 Corinthians 15:30-34), nor to become worried and frantic and fractured/divided/harassed in one’s mind about problems and burdens and unfairness (Matthew 6:25-34; Luke 12:13-14; 1 Corinthians 6:1-8). Instead He wants us looking up and discerning the times, for truly the time of His return is upon us. This is what all of the signs are about and what the chaos I. The eolrlf is all about too. They are signs of Jesus’ immanent return.
But when He comes will He take Christians ‘”unaware” just like the world because of our burdened lives and scattered minds? Could we even be deceived because we did not take heed to Jesus’ multiple warnings of Matthew 24? Will we be taken in the trap coming upon the whole earth? Or, will each of us be counted worthy to escape? Have you prayed to be counted worthy? What will you be doing when He comes? And most of all, will Jesus find faith in you when He comes? (Luke 18:8).
A word of the Lord was given via tongues and interpretation during this morning’s Family Worship Center service in Baton Rouge, LA. This is the church started by Jimmy Swaggart and is now led by his family.
Before sharing what God said, I want to share 1 Corinthians 14:27-32 with you. Paul is speaking to a group of Christians in the city of Corinth regarding the gifts/manifestations of the Spirit during the corporate worship service. Though some today say that the gifts passed away with the Apostles, Scripture does not teach us that at all. Here is what Paul says, “If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.”
It is important to note here that what is said via inspiration of the Holy Spirit must agree with Scripture, and thus Paul stated that the prophets are subject to the prophets – even the prophets of the word of God. I would also emphasize 1 John 4 here which states, “1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”
Though a majority of churches in the Western world do not have such manifestations of the Spirit for the edification of the Body, there are a few who do – and it is far more common in third World congregations where the gifts are not explained away.
This being said, I pray this recent word of the Lord encourages you, and perhaps inspires you to set your mind on God that He might keep you in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3), on things above (Colossians 3), to forget not all His benefits (Psalm 103), and especially upon the the promises of God – Biblical promises for daily life, Biblical promises of His rapture and return, and personal promises from God to you like the one He gave personally to Simeon in Luke 2 regarding His first coming.
Now without further ado, here is the word of the Lord: “Am I not the God who is faithful in every generation? Am I not the God who is faithful in every season? Am I not the God who answers your prayers? I am with you says the Lord, and the best is yet to be. Hearken unto my voice says God, and believe Me for the hour is near and the trumpet is about to sound. But listen says the Lord, I need ALL to believe, Believe, BELIEVE, and I will do what I have said that I will do.”
Jesus is coming sooner now than before. This is what Jesus calls for is to be focused upon. No not merely as an escape clause, but as a catalyst to get out there with the Gospel, to be loving our fellow Christians, to use our money for God’s glory that we might aquire treasure in heaven, to make sure we’ve repented of any sin in our lives and hearts, and that we’ve chosen forgiveness and holiness. Let’s be ready. Indeed, let’s be believing!

Did anyone else have a rough Christmas Eve? My family did. After a very rough day (yes, I heard others had a rough Christmas Eve too), my heart filled to the full on Christmas morning. But it didn’t start there. In spite of my bad headache that had lasted the entire day and the friction between me and a close family member, the angst of other issues, and feelings of frustration, I determined to go to the Christmas Eve service at church anyway. And though the attending of it was not the answer nor even magical, the determination to defy the devil’s best laid plans worked tremendously!
But it hadn’t just been one rough day. The whole of 2025 had been rough, like one long dark tunnel leading to another and another, until finally we arrived at the rocky precipice of Christmas Eve. 2025 was a strange year filled with ER visits, doctor appointments, death of a dear one, changes in employment, family friction, spiritual warfare, and my own sudden unexplainable illness. And not just my family experienced a year like this, for friends and friends/family of friends also met with difficulties and challenges such as major surgeries, talk of divorce, recurring sickness, lengthy recoveries, fractured vertebrae, months away from home in nursing care/rehab facilities, job loss, deaths of friends and family, and life changing decisions they did not anticipate having to make. And then there was the sudden and very visible murder of Charlie Kirk surrounded by all its mayhem and intrigue.
When at my lowest, illest point of 2025, I found something I never expected to find. Peace and rest – the kind that Jesus meant when He said in Matthew 11, “28Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”” This is the kind of rest that wraps one’s soul in a warmth and glow that cannot be explained – that kind of peace like found in the painting of a little white dove who made her nest in the side of a cliff while a monumental thunderstorm with splintering lightning flashing all around and rocks shattering and tumbling, waters of the sea roaring and thrashing, but… “it is well with my soul.”
And that same still beauty I’d known in the midst my illness of 2025, visited me again Christmas morning when my heart filled to overflowing with a warm awe of God as Father and kinsman redeemer and His heart toward unworthy humanity (Isaiah 54:5-8; Isaiah 43:1-7; Galatians 4:4-7; Deuteronomy 25:5-10, and the book of Ruth). Indeed, every good and perfect gift does come from Him (James 1:17), who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16). And though the story is oh so familiar, a whiff of that fragrant incense of God’s great love washed over my senses this past Christmas morning, and I fell into the hug of the beneficent presence of Father God who gave everything and yet expects nothing in return (Matthew 5:44-48; Luke 6:35-36).
And the revelation of our priceless Jesus, the only begotten Son of our benevolent Father, who took on human flesh and dwelt among us as the lowliest servant (Philippians 2) came as Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6-7) became more real and alive to me than ever before – the One who brings us back into favor with God, restoring our lost citizenship, and who makes everything and everyone whole who welcome Him in as their Peace (Luke 2:10-14; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
Oh may we who are breathlessly looking for the 2nd coming of our dear Lord, even dare I say the rapture of His Church, be like dear Simeon in Luke 2 who had been expectantly anticipating the 1st Advent of Christ! May we too, like Simeon, eagerly welcome and take, as it were, Christ to ourselves, as our answer, as our very own Prince of Peace – right now, today, in every moment, in every situation and emotion. May we let Him bind up our wounds, open our prison doors, give sight to our blind eyes, release us from all oppression, and be our good news of great joy (Luke 4:17-21).
But may it not end there. May that love and peace we’ve freely and liberally received from our liberal Father of lights in whom is no shadow of turning, turn and freely give to others who are wounded, miserable, poor, blind, naked, imprisoned and oppressed too (James 1:17; Matthew 10:8; Luke 7:47). And yes, they are difficult and unworthy. They may be cold as ice and hard as steel. But, so were we once, until Jesus came, until Jesus saw us, until Jesus called our name like Zacchaeus and said today I’ll be dining at your house! (Luke 19:1-9; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
As we have celebrated Christmas 2025, may we not have missed the awe and wonder of whatever it was and is that God wants to give us. May we not lose the wonder. May we not lose the awe. And if you find yourself losing it, simply be still. No matter how busy or troubled or weary or questioning, determine to defy the devil and be still and treasure the gift of Christmas. Take Jesus the Prince of Peace to yourself, to your heart. And then…love like the Father those unloveables in your orbit. Seek peace and pursue it (Psalm 34:14); be at peace with all as far as it depends upon you (Romans 12:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:13). For it is this peace that makes us “salt” in a very flat, drab, flavorless world (Mark 9:50). And just love them, expecting nothing in return (Luke 6:35), and just see what the Spirit of God might do!
And as we enter 2026, may all we’ve felt and learned and embraced and treasured and put into practice come with us! May we usher in the new year with tidings of comfort and joy and peace on earth good will toward men! No, not the false kind of “peace and security” of 1 Thessalonians 5 for which the world is looking but instead will find sudden destruction. No. Rather, the real peace from Jesus the Prince of Peace that is not like what the world gives, and which Jesus has already given to us as Christians if we will but receive it! (John 14:27). May God’s peace rule in our hearts with abundance of gushing thanksgiving (Colossians 3:15). And may we confidently move forward as ambassadors of this peace and healing and reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5) that God through Jesus extended and is still extending to a world at war with Him (Romans 5:10; James 4:4). No other worldly government nor political promise nor earthly king nor materialistic comfort nor physical hope will long endure our Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, of whose government and peace there will be NO END!!! Amen and Amen! Let Jesus indeed be our Prince of Peace, and no other.
Remember, Jesus still is coming SOON. Let’s be ready!

If you had a rough holiday season and /or 2025, perhaps the story of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow might minister to you. He had lost his beloved wife to a freak accident, been badly burned to the point of scaring, the United States was torn by Civil War, and his son age 20 to lay severely wounded and nearly paralyzed in an army hospital. In the midst of all this, on December 25, 1864, as the bells of the church bells chimed away, he sat down and penned the words of this poem which later became a song. And this clip is from an old movie called the Bishop’s Wife and is a beautiful example of someone cold and unlovable having a wound do deep that it warped her life causing her to be cold and hard and unyielding. But, when the angel Dudley in the story uncovers this truth, healing sets in and soften the hardest heart, changing not only the course of her life but soon so many others. I started a video by Jonathan Chan in recent days, and was so gravely disappointed by what direction he seemed to be going with things that I stopped it. I fast-forwarded to the end a bit and he seemed to circle back a bit to more biblical truth, but that’s after misleading with talk of witches being successful in their curse of Charlie Kirk. So, I had to address this topic head on. Here is how I commented on the YouTube beneath his video.
“It matters not what spells or curses that witches and warlocks are casting or will cast, according to Numbers 22-25 the sorcerer Balaam could NOT successfully curse those whom God had blessed. In Numbers 30, however, we see that sin among the people allowed for the curse to take effect. Other than blatant habitual sin opening that door, we as Christians are covered by the cleansing blood of the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world! And Charlie Kirk was a born again, blood-bought Christian. So, I don’t care what those witches did regarding the Charlie Kirk murder. I guarantee you, their incantation was not the cause. And no matter what any witchcraft curses or spells are cast in the diabilical season ahead, those incantations have no power over the blood-bought Church of Jesus Christ! I do not like the fear that may be stirred by the words in this video, nor the power unduly given to curses upon a Christian. Witches may wrongly boast success, but beware of ascribing power and praise where it does not belong! God does not share His glory with another. The Kirks knew they were in a spiritual war; Erika Kirk addressed that at an event 2 months ago. And it is imperative to remember, Christians have been given authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and the gates of hell has not nor ever will prevail against us!”
And so I encourage us as Christians, don’t allow for habitual sin in your life (1 John 3:9). Not any. Not even a little. Don’t excuse it. Don’t justify it. And the thing is, you may not even be perceiving something you’re doing as sin. So, you’re going to need the Holy Spirit’s help to show you. Even as David asked the Lord to search him and know him to see if there be any wicked way in him (Psalm 51 and 139). Not only this, but it is imperative that you are in the Word, for that is what the Spirit uses to convict, rebuke and instruct (2 Timothy 3). It is the Word that Jesus washes us with to make is without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5). And He also uses those in the Body of Christ to correct us too, and we are called repeatedly to submit to godly counsel (the Proverbs, 2 Timothy 2, Ephesians 5:21). Indeed, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, remember? (Ephesians 6). And most, if not all, of that armor is Jesus Himself – He is salvation; He is truth; He is righteousness; He is peace; He is the Word. This, be clothed with Christ (Galatians 3:27).
Why are we American Christians so surprised by Charlie Kirk’s assassination? Are not our brothers and sisters in Christ being slaughtered around the world simply for believing in Jesus? Did not Jesus say in John 15, “18“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.” And in Matthew 24, “9“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”
And why not in America? We are no longer godly nor Christian, but are still murdering the unborn, releasing murderers into the streets, celebrating and imitating immoral celebrities, defending the evil, calling evil good, involved in the sex slave trade and all kinds of intrigue and deception, and in short have rejected the real, true and living Jesus for the a golden calf of prosperity and peace. And the American Church is no better for they are biblically illiterate, honor their subjective opinion and the opinions of other people above God’s word, live immoral lives and call themselves blessed, pursue pleasure rather then God, and like the church of Laodicea in Revelation 3, they are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. So, why not here?
Charlie Kirk, whose name actually means “the strong church”(Charles meaning “the strong” and Kirk meaning “church”) has not died in vain. His martyrdom/assassination is a wake-up call to the body of Christ that this world is not our home, and that America nor any other bastion of earthly freedom is our hope. It is indeed a reminder that Christians are just passing through this world, and that our future for our children never did lie here on this temporary ground, but we have a country eternal in the heavens and are citizens of the unshakable and unfading glory of the monarchy of heaven (Philippians 3:20; 1 Peter 2:11; 2 Corinthians 5:20; Hebrews 11). Our Lord’s return is near, and we as His citizens and ambassadors MUST set our minds on eternity and our hands to the plow of boldly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ – even the message of reconciliation to a dark, depraved and dying world (2 Corinthians 5). May we be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5). May He put wings to our feet. May we be bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1) in declaring our dear Jesus who is coming soon, coming quickly, and whose reward is with Him. Jesus Himself asked in Luke 18, when He returns will He find faith in the earth. Oh how I pray that He will find faith in us! Faith to the end. He will never leave us nor forsake us, even to the end of the age. May we not be weary now! Come on “strong church”, where are you?
As the seed of Charlie’s body is buried in the ground and the devil thinks he’s conquered a weak and emaciated and deceived and intimidated Church, may the fruit of the “strong church” that has been hiding far too long ARISE and SHINE for her light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon her!!!
Charlie Kirk’s death is not politically motivated nor is it about Democrats or Republicans or Libertarians or Independents or Green Party proponents. For we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood! (Ephesians 6). Rather, it is all about Satan’s hatred of and the assassination of the “strong church” of Jesus Christ via human pawns – that the Church might be blindsided thinking all is lost, that fear might take hold of their hearts and suck the oxygen out of the room, that their faith might be shaken, that they might ultimately be destroyed by turning their faith from Christ to the empty hope of a worldly mirage of peace and to the devil as an angel of light.But the “strong church” will never be defeated nor will the gates of hell ever prevail against the Church of the living Christ! (Matthew 16:18). Yes, He is living indeed, and has overcome the world!!! Jesus said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” For the fires of affliction only stirs the fire of our faith to greater height and heat and hallelujahs.
For our God reigns and is our refuge and strength and an ever present help in trouble still (Psalm 46). And our God sat enthroned at the great Flood and sits enthroned forever!!! (Psalm 29). And His return is immanent!
Get up, oh body of Christ!!! Prepare the way, for the King is coming! The signs are everywhere announcing His return!!! Now it is time for you to do so as well! May the hearts of the fathers turn to the children and the unrighteous to the righteous! Arise, oh people of God!!! Be holy to the Lord, oh beloved Church! Press on toward the goal and the high calling of Christ! (Philippians 3). Take seriously your identity in Christ and His swift return! Be not silent, but shout! Get up on your feet; get out of your corner; huddle not in fear or worry or doubt any longer; be not mesmerized by the pleasures and illusive comforts of this world anymore. Now is the moment! Now is the time! There is a great cloud of witnesses that surrounds you of those who have paid the highest price of suffering before you for Christ, and now they stand to cheer us on!!! (Hebrews 12). Get on your feet! Run! Race on! The race is not over; the battle is not done! We are nearing the finish line, but oh we must finish well! Charlie did and has now entered his rest. Let us now be counted worthy too. Let us lift up our heads and get up on our feet, for our redemption is drawing near!!!!!!!!! (Luke 21:28).

In one article entitled, “Chiefs owner’s family loses 9-year-old girl in Texas floods: ‘Our hearts are broken’” (New York Post) https://share.newsbreak.com/dxggz7w7 the words of a lady named Tavia Hunt, wife of the Chiefs’ owner who is a cousin of the little girl who died, is recounted, “If your heart is broken, I assure you God is near,” Tavia Hunt wrote. “He is gentle with your wounds. And He is still worthy—even when your soul is struggling to believe it. Trust doesn’t mean you’re over the pain; it means you’re handing it to the only One who can hold it with love and restore what was lost. For we do not grieve as those without hope.”
Dear, dear, precious, sister-in-Christ Tavia! I am moved beyond words! What depth of understanding! What a wealth of spiritual truth and riches that this world cannot buy nor even begin to comprehend! Oh the eternal hope we have because of Christ!!!!
My heart is so moved to tears for the incredible things happening down there in the midst of such tragedy and heartache. One such powerful moment was that of a bus full of girls being rescued from the Christian girls’ camp. Here is a quote about it the article entitled, “Camp Mystic victims’ families react to tragedy with faith” (NewsNation) https://share.newsbreak.com/dxrq141x Quote: “A video of survivors from the camp on a bus as they were being rescued showed the floodwaters flowing as the girls sang songs of praise and worship. “I’ll shout it from the mountain tops, praise God! I want my world to know the Lord of love has come to me. I want to pass it on,” they sang while driving through the area devastated by the floods.” (This is a Jesus Movement song entitled, “Pass It On” https://youtube.com/watch?v=AkHc9dM2VlY&si=4TJFk7_zLuR6_ix1). Oh what a song to be sung at such a time as that!!!!!!!
Those precious girls, wet and afraid and uncertain of what might come next and seated on that bus, were singing praises to Jesus and living out Psalm 8 which proclaims, “2Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies,That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.”
Think about those words! Their tiny voices, the cries of children, the suckling sounds of infants, the sing-song sounds of little ones silence the enemy and the avenger! They shut the mouth of the lion seeking to devour. They shut the mouth of the one seeking to steal, kill and destroy! And God has established it to be so. This is the foundation of His strength. His glory is in this.
Did He not chose David the eighth and youngest snd most unlikely son to face Goliath and become king? Did He not chose 80 year old Moses who stuttered, and Gideon and the 300 unlikely, rag-tag, scrappy group to defeat the multitude of Midianites? Did He not chose Rahab the young harlot of Jericho to become a part if the lineage of Jesus Christ? And the list of “unlikelies” could go on indefinitely!!!! For indeed, “27…God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29that no flesh should glory in His presence.” (1 Corinthians 1).
Truly, our God is great, and is doing amazing things past finding out, even right now in Texas. As Job 9:10-12 says, “10He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number.11If He goes by me, I do not see Him; If He moves past, I do not perceive Him;12If He takes away, who can hinder Him? Who can say to Him, ‘What are You doing?’” And oh the amazing indisputable truth of Romans 11:33, “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!”
May the parents and all who lost someone to eternity be reminded that Job (of the book of Job in the Bible) lost seven sons and three daughters.10 children. All 10. ALL. In one day. In one disaster. Yet the story recounts that Job upon hearing the news, “20… arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there.The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.” As the story progresses, Job proceeded to go through intense grief and despair even of life. But in the end, he is humbled beyond words by the incredible power and majesty of God, and sits in astounded awe. “1Then Job answered the Lord and said: 2“I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. 3You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 4Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’ 5“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. 6Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” (Job 42).
God is moving in Texas. God is working in Texas. God is making ready a people prepared for the Lord, in Texas. And I call to all who read this to please be in prayer for your brothers and sisters in Christ who are in shock, who have lost everything, who are grieving the loss of a child or children or other loved ones, and whose pain is beyond words, but they are worshiping still; they are praising Him still; they are believing still; they are holding fast and being held fast still. They belong to Jesus. And we are interconnected with them by the blood of the Lamb. And the Bible commands that we are to weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15). Even so, may we obey and do so.
And as we pray, may we remember Hebrews 4 which says, “14….that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
And that “sympathy” is not just feeling badly for someone, but rather is empathy, which means that He feels it right along with them. For Jesus was tried and examined in all infirmities and weaknesses of human frailty – physical, spiritual and emotional – and was found without sin. He knows. He understands. He weeps. And we in the midst of any situation may frankly and boldly say it like it is before Him, knowing that we will be met with His covenant-loyalty of mercy and the unmatched greatness of His empowering grace, both of which will at the divinely appointed and exact second help us by holding us together like the cords sailors used to put around their ships to keep the raging, stormy sea from thrashing them part.
He holds us together. He holds you together. Pray that the dear ones in Kerrville and all involved in the Guadalupe flash flood will be held together, and will hold fast their confession as they are held fast by the nail scarred hands of Jesus, and that those who do not know Jesus will come to know Him and be held fast as well.
Jesus is coming soon. Let’s help one another to be ready!
My heart has been greatly burdened for this nation (and the world) in recent years and even more so in recent days. And if your hearts have been burdened too, and somehow the festivities seem more hollow or surreal and bittersweet than ever before, then I encourage you today with God’s word. It is there that we find that our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20) that will never pass away (Luke 1:33), and that we serve an eternal King who will never be deposed (Revelation 22). This world is dying, it is passing away, and all that can be shaken will be shaken (Hebrews 12; Isaiah 24), because our King is coming (Revelation 22; John 14)!
And so as we observe and experience picnics and fireworks and old glory’s colors unfolding against the glorious backdrop of the bluest, cloud-dappled sky, let us not be disheartened because of the madness of a dying world. Let us instead recall what America has stood for in the past, and be reminded that however good it’s been here, this world, even this America, is not our home (Hebrews 13:14). We are ambassadors here (2 Corinthians 5:20). We are pilgrims and strangers here (Hebrews 11:13). We are not Republican or Democrat or Independent or Libertarian. We are Monarchists, and our king is Jesus. We are just passing through as lights in the darkness (Ephesians 5), proclaiming news to the captives that our God reigns (Isaiah 61), and that true liberty is found in Christ ALONE (John 8:36; Galatians 5:1; 2 Corinthians 3:17))!!!
So be encouraged! Take heart! Lift up your heads! Lift high the heavenly standard! And shout it from the rooftops that our God reigns, and there therefore is hope for the burdened, for those imprisoned by sin, for the lost and alone, the addicted, the depressed, the oppressed, and depraved, for there is still power in the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb!! There is no fireworks display more brilliant, no feast sweeter, and no freedom more free than is found in our eternal Kingdom of our King Jesus Christ!! And He is coming back SOON!!!

Have you been watching the news? Not only is Israel at war, but now the U.S. is too. What keeps flashing on the bottom of the screen on the news is that the U.S. president is calling for peace. Because of this, what has been playing through my mind is the passage from Daniel 8 which says that “by peace he will destroy many”. That’s right. By peace. In other words, in a time when the “many” may think they are secure, like Iran likely had felt while in negotiations leading up to the present war, that when they are suddenly striken. Suddenly! Bam!!! Destruction. Makes me also think of 1 Thessalonians 5 which says that when people are saying peace and security/safety then sudden destruction will come up on them. Oh what interesting times!
Speaking of this war, please remember to pray for our Israeli and Iranian brothers and sisters in Christ. Oh the turmoil! Oh the fear! Oh the uncertainty and crazy mad insanity! Pray pray pray and do not cease to pray for them in this horribly unstable time. Pray that they be bold for Christ. Pray that they abide in His peace and that others will ask about it and want it too. Pray for guidance and direction. Pray for miraculous provision and protection. Oh do not cease to pray for them!

We are now hearing that the terrorists conducted smaller scale attacks in American cities and localities prior to the July 4 incidents to test our defenses and gauge our responses. Laboratory tests confirm that Nipah virus caused the disease, but we still do not know what methods our adversaries used to infect humans and spread the disease among livestock in rural communities. Animals and people were sick for more than a month before we realized what had happened. While the virus is in the same family as other common human and animal viruses, most American veterinarians and physicians had never seen Nipah virus before, which delayed recognition. The virus, which in nature does not spread easily among people, was genetically modified to increase its ability to spread from animal-to-animal, animal-to-person, and person-to-person, while still retaining a mortality rate of over 40%.”
Their original Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense was in 2015, and it’s original hypothetical scenario was set for July 4, 2016. It seems that the day is always the same, but the year changes. Now with the Iran war going on, this could more feasibly play out this time around. The date will be here soon, so we will soon see.

Is this a thing of the future? No. It is a thing of the immediate present that is swiftly advancing. Just thought I’d share! There is a lot happening and more about to unfold. But we know this means all the more that the rapture is SOON. So, let’s be busy with the living out of 2 Peter, wherein Peter states that God is not willing that one of His people should perish, and that He tarries His return for our sakes – He wants us without spot and wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27), and living holy, selfless, loving lives that are being conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 8:29)!
It’s all coming together; it’s just often hidden in plain sight!
It appears that the actual final Pope is here as predicted by St Malachy’s ‘Prophecy of the Popes’ as set forth in the book Petrus Romanus, by Tom Horn and Chris Putnam. The prophecy of St Malachy predicted each Pope to come with descriptive mottos for each. “Peter the Roman” is the description of the final Pope.
Some had thought Pope Francis was the last pope. Even I had thought so – that is, if the prophecy is trustworthy. But, it appears Francis was just a smoke screen to try to throw people off about the prophecy. Some Catholics even considered him to be an illegitimate Pope. Nevertheless, both he and Benedict who came before him could be said to have the same motto – “the glory of the olive”. Yes, incredibly, Pope Francis’ namesake St. Francis of Assisi shared with St. Benedict, the namesake of Pope Benedict xvi, the olive. “The “Assisi-Spoleto Olive Belt” is tied to the figure of St. Francis, who turned a tree species of foreign origin into a universal symbol of peace” (http://www.fasciaolivata.it/en/the-lands-of-st-francis/). Indeed, St Francis was all about peace. He even has a peace prayer that is popular among people of all religions. Thus, truly both the Fransiscans (the namesake of Pope Francis) and the Benedictines (the namesake of Pope Benedict xvi) have the olive tree in common!!!!
First, why has the new Pope adopted the name Leo? Incredibly, the first Pope Leo (the Great) uniquely “promoted the doctrine of papal primacy based on succession from St. Peter…”. This links the name of Leo with Peter.
Then there was Pope Leo III who monumentally crowned the first Holy Roman Emperor, King Charlemagne who became the “Father of Europe” by unifying it through bloody campaigns, and was referred to as the “new David” and “new Constantine”, “the guardian of Christendom and executer of God’s will” (https://www.britannica.com/biography/Charlemagne/Emperor-of-the-Romans), and who was said by JR Church (the former host of Prophecy in the News) to have possessed and conquered in the power of the “spear of destiny”(Guardians of the Grail, pgs 56-57). In other words, Charlemagne was a picture of antichrist, and Pope Leo III was a picture of the false prophet.
Furthermore, regarding the ‘Roman’ part (of the title “Peter the Roman”), on May 25, 2025, “Pope Leo XIV [oddly enough] declared himself ‘a Roman’ on Sunday as he completed the final ceremonial steps cementing his role as the bishop of Rome…The Augustinian pope quoted St. Augustine in saying: “With you I am Christian, and for you, bishop.” “By special title, today I can say that for you and with you I am Roman!” Leo said.” https://apnews.com/article/rome-pope-bishop-ceremony-basilicas-ae01507115934e82a15e5f6758d0863. Yes, Roman, and in keeping with the emphasis of his predecessor Leo the Great, he is ‘a Roman’ of ‘the succession of Peter’.
And if that is not enough, the new Pope’s coat of arms might make things even clearer. The fleur de lis on the blue backdrop was the symbol/banner given to Charlemagne by Pope Leo III (https://mythologian.net/fleur-de-lis-symbol-its-meaning-history-origins/) after being crowned. “In 800 AD, the fleur de lis was adopted by the Roman Catholic Church to represent the Virgin Mary after Pope Leo III crowned Charlemagne as the emperor. He gave him a blue-colored banner bearing the fleur de lis symbol embroidered in gold.” And this is not only a symbol of a one world unifying leader (like Charlemagne), but also points to the veneration (worship) of Mary (the goddess, the co-redemptrix, the Queen of heaven).
And though Pope Leo the xiv explains the other symbol on his crest, namely the heart with the arrow through it, as Augustinian https://www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2025-05/pope-leo-xiv-s-motto-and-coat-of-arms.html, it is not clearly about that at all. According to an online source, St Augustine is translated as saying, “Thou hadst pierced our heart with thy love, and we carried thy words, as it were, thrust through our vitals. The examples of thy servants whom thou hadst changed from black to shining white, and from death to life, crowded into the bosom of our thoughts and burned and consumed our sluggish temper, that we might not topple back into the abyss.” (Confessions and Enchiridion, newly translated and edited by Albert C. Outler by St. Augustine, https://ccel.org/ccel/augustine/confessions.xii.html#fnf_xii-p4.1). There is no talk of an arrow, though other sources do definitely mention arrows. Truly, the symbol of St Augustine is that of a heart shape superimposed over an open book with an arrow hitting it and a flame above it as found at these two Augustinian sources: https://www.osa.org.au/about-us/our-order/the-orders-emblem/; https://www.midwestaugustinians.org/the-augustinian-emblem/. So, a heart and an arrow are involved, and the depiction at these two sites are the same. But, neither depiction is like Pope Leo XIV’s that portrays a closed book with a more realistic looking human heart burst into bloody looking flames by a downward slanting arrow. Symbols are specific. And the new Pope’s are not at all like St Augustine’s.
Another who bears the symbol of the heart and arrow is the god Cupid/Eros, son of Venus. It is he whose arrow strikes the heart, and casts a spell on whomever it strikes. And the story of Eros (god) and Psyche’s (woman) romance is very much like that of Genesis 6 in living color.
One other thing to note about Pope Leo XIV’s coat of arms. The book is closed up on which the bloody heart is set, and not open like St Augustine’s. That’s right. It’s closed. One cannot overlook this very important detail. It is significant. The Augustinian definition of the open book is, “The open book suggests a dedication to a search for knowledge, both divine and earthly.” (https://www.osa.org.au/about-us/our-order/the-orders-emblem/). But a closed book is entirely another matter, and the definition of a closed book is that which one knows nothing about, i.e. a mystery. Makes me think of “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother’s of Harlots and Abominations of the earth” (Revelation 17:5).
And then there is the motto on the coat of arms which in English reads: “In the One, we are one”. The new Pope says this oneness is with Christ, but that is not what the Latin phrase says. Could this indeed be like the Tower of Babel wherein the people had one language and one cause which unified them and drove them feverishly forward to build a technologically advanced, waterproof Tower in defiance of God? (Genesis 11). And in that same plain (a wide level valley between mountains) of Shinar/Dura, King Nebuchadnezzar built his golden statue, sixty by six cubits.
Pope Leo XIV’s name and coat of arms are telling us what he intends. It appears that the mesmerizing One World Order Religion of Mystery Babylon is rising like the Tower of old, and that the antichrist like Charlemagne will soon be crowned.
Again, it is hidden in plain sight if we will but see it! The strong siren call of unity is the driving theme of the Luciferian agenda politically, economically, and religiously, just as in Genesis 11. Second Thessalonians 2 is advancing quickly. Dear Christian, take heed and do not be deceived! Beware of the fiery darts of the enemy (Ephesians 6) that are out to steal, kill, and insinerate you to less than ashes until every part of you is consumed (John 10:10), and steadily hold up that shield of faith!

I’ve heard other pretrib presentations, but none so well laid out as this! Lee Brainard explains the pre-tribulation rapture with step-by-step, objective, historical documentation. Unlike a lot of other pretrib rapture presentations, this is exceptional, encouraging, and very well presented. And I do not say this lightly.
I don’t know your take on the rapture, but I have for years leaned toward a midtrib/prewrath rapture theory based on a great deal of serious research, and have often deflected various pretrib Revelation arguments. Plus, what constitutes the beginning of the Tribulation anyway?
But… the way Lee Brainard presents Revelation 4 & 5 and the 24 elders was absolutely, astonishingly, profoundly amazing!!! I am super excited now!!!
How horrific it is that in recent years the pretrib rapture position (though I’ve not always agreed with it) has been villainized and demeaned and viciously attacked by Christians. And I think every Christian should ask ‘why?’ Why does everyone get so hot under the collar and stirred up about it? It’s one thing to disagree. I disagreed. I discussed. That’s fine. But attack?
And now there is a new article claiming that the pretrib rapture is ‘antisemitic’. Seriously. Though this article is not covered in this Lee Brainard video, the dark accusation of the article entitled, “The Secret Rapture and Israel” by Bishop Bowers of Israel365 News, is exposed by Pastor JD Farag in his prophecy update from today entitled, “Exposing the Dark by Shining the Light.” https://subspla.sh/bj22424 Herein, Pastor JD does an excellent job when he points out that such demonic attacks would not be aimed at something unimportant or impotent. The Devil would not waste his time on something benign now would he? Does Satan not attack and/or counterfeit that which is true? After all, is PostTrib or MidTrib or PreWrath attacked so viciously?? Just something to seriously consider. And more importantly, according to Proverbs 6, God hates and considers an abomination, those who sow discord among the brothers. Those attacking their brothers in Christ over the pretrib issue are indeed sowing discord and had better take heed.
Anyway, I pray that you are blessed by this Lee Brainard presentation, and that you keep looking up because Jesus said to do so for our redemption is truly drawing nearer now than ever before!!! Jesus’ return is our blessed HOPE. Let’s keep it that way. And as the Apostle Paul says, let’s encourage one another with these words!
