Hook Publishing is an Irish owned and operated publishing house specialising in Irish poetry, fiction and out-of-print Irish texts whose rights have expired. We also offer a full copy-editing, proof-reading and transcription service.

The company is owned and operated by Kevin and Aoife Connelly, a father-daughter team operating out of the beautiful Hook Peninsula area of Wexford. We decided to enter the publishing world based on our mutual passion for books, literature and the importance of good grammar!

Kevin is a bi-lingual poet with an established Irish and international following, he is a retired English teacher with almost 30 years experience. Aoife holds a Masters in Literature and Publishing from N.U.I. Galway and has previously worked as a journalist and editor, she currently works as a freelance copy-editor.

We decided to combine our expertise and experience and launch our own company to publish the dreams of unpublished authors all over Ireland!
